Abstract

The expanding role of electrostatics as applied to minerals and related fields is covered in this paper. New and existing forms of electrostatic separation are classified into two broad groups: separation of charged particles and separation of neutral particles. The basis for each form of separation is discussed along with particle examples and results obtained.
