Abstract
Discovery of an economic diamond deposit produces considerable wealth in terms of jobs, royalties, mining investment, and economic spinoffs for residents, including Aboriginal peoples. Diamond mines contribute to the GDP, increased personal income per person and reduced unemployment rates. Is it possible in Alberta?
