Abstract

Non-ferrous econometric metal models available from consultants are reviewed for structure and computer access, using copper as an example The evolution of a computerized metals price forecasting system for a consumer of non-ferrous metals is outlined including front ends, bridge equations, and supporting databases. An empirical sensitivity analysis technique is described. A postscript discusses the subscription costs of these models.
