Abstract

This paper considers the sampling, digitizing and reconstruction of seismic signals. A sampling frequency range is proposed and a minimum limit is suggested. Digitizing precision criteria for both peak velocity and analysis applications are given. Several methods for reconstructing signals from sampled data are presented.
