Abstract

As a reaction to the fire accidents in tunnels in Europe Designers nowadays have to demonstrate the integrity of underground structures such as metro systems, railway and road tunnels in case of fire load wherever as a consequence of a lining collapse surface infrastructures or residential areas could be affected. To respond to this FLAMDOCS allows to calculate the stability of reinforced concrete structures during fire load for a series of prede?ned time steps. Elementary theories of non linear material properties and reinforced concrete structures are used.
