Abstract

The scope is to address issues confronted by parties in the mining industry such as: Mine planners, survey and engineering departments, field teams and subcontractors. Describing approaches and best practices for assembling a project team to identify and create modeling requirements and to implement beneficial results. 3D Machine Control and Guidance tools continue to reduce project risk and attract quality resources with skill sets new to the earthmoving industry. These tools increase production, reduce rework and help with government permitting.
