Abstract

The properties of ethylene Ionomer resins for the inner layer of non-electric shock tubes will be discussed in detail, and opportunities for property enhancement will be pointed out. A stiffness program for prediction of shock tube stiffness, as determined by the stiffness of the individual layers, will be presented and discussed.
