Hybrid specifications are a relatively new style of specifications specifically for the drilling and blasting industry that has seen widespread use over the last decade with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. This paper analyzed how this methodology was applied to develop this specification for the Soo Lock Deepening Project.
