Abstract

About 500 mineral-processing professionals from around the world gathered in San Francisco, CA in Oct. 22-27, 1995 for the XIX International Mineral Processing Congress (IMPC). Following the theme “Leading Mineral Processing into the 21st Century Through Advanced Technology,”186 speakers from 28 countries covered research and development activities and innovative processes. Subjects included comminution and simulation control, physical and chemical processing, flotation practices and fundamentals, precious metals processing and mineral waste and the environment.
