Abstract

"Measuring a blast’s performance based on the bucket fill time or “diggability” has always been achallenge due to the subjectivity generally involved. The diggability of a blast is often based onopinions and speculation without the data to properly support the claim. This paper focuses howthe blast design can impact diggability and how it can be properly measured."
