Abstract

The major raw material feed properties of size distribution and chemistry are examined in relation to their effect on sinter operating conditions, plant productivity, sinter physical quality, reduction- degradation characteristics and sinter texture and mineralogy. The resultant physiochemical properties of these sinters are related to their behaviour in subsequent ironmaking operations.
