Abstract

As pressure grows for commodity pricing, new mines are more difficult to develop, the stock markets demand better financial returns from mining companies, resources for the developing and operations are scarce, and developing countries in Asia, and Africa demand more metals, it is important that mining companies effect better utilization of capital to develop capital projects. In the last few years, the costs for Capital projects have been impacted by the following factors:
