Abstract

Large diameter boreholes have become increasingly popular in underground mining. Drilling equipment can drill full rings, including vertical upholes. Special techniques are required to load upholes of three inch to eight inch diameter. The current methods for loading AN/FO and bulk or packaged emulsions are described.
