Abstract

Emulsion powder and granule explosive is produced through airflow fluidization technology by using W/O emulsion. Maintaining the microstructure of W/O emulsion, it has the advantages of both emulsion explosives, such as good water-resistance and detonation properties and powder explosives, such as low cost and east handling. The basic theory of emulsion powder and granular explosive, choices of constituents and formulation, technology for preparation, equipment and relevant parameters, product property as well as technology for safe use have been illustrated in this essay. Based on the above illustration, related factors influencing property and use result have been analyzed.
