Abstract
Process Optimization ?What is it really? It is NOT ?a larger fan to increase draft through a process ?a larger pump on a wet circuit ?a wider conveyor belt for solid materials ?a larger feed elevator into or out of a process These relieve individual constraints ??bottlenecks??and allow operation to the next constraint in the process ?It is also NOT about automating the operator ?which captures consistency but is not continuous optimization
