Abstract

SLon vertical ring and pulsating high gradient magnetic separators (VPHGMS) possess the advantages of high efficiency and high reliability in beneficiating weakly magnetic minerals. In recent years, models SLon-2250, SLon-2500, SLon-3000 and SLon-4000 have been developed. This paper gives several examples of their applications in oxidised iron ore and ilmenite processing flow sheets to improve iron and ilmenite recoveries.CITATION:Dahe, X, 2017.
