Abstract

What is a safe stand-off distance? Recent mishaps using conventional blasting equipment have seen flyrock as distant as 3,750 feet from the blast area, or close to three-quarters of a mile, therefore, whether below ground, under water, in surface quarries or at a structural demolition site, data signals riding a radio wave promise a new horizon for the users of both electric and non electric blasting circuits.
