The Bureau of Mines investigated the standard Gibbs energies of forma-tion AGfo, for NiCr204 (nickel chromite) and CoCr204 (cobalt chromite). High temperature galvanic cells employing stabilized ZrOz (zirconia) as the solid electrolyte were used to measure the open-circuit potentials for the cell reactions ?
