Abstract

Nasty, according to the Collins Dictionary, comprises the adjectives: bad, critical, dangerous, dirty, odious, serious, severe, sickening, unpleasant etc. From this we may at first conclude that each individual smelter relying on its own specific business surrounding would have a special definition of its nasties. But common product standards and common metallurgy makes us experience common nasties. To get an idea of possible problem elements we start with the demands on the products: [ ]
