The Analysis of Blast Vibration Data - What is the Current State of the Art?

Many of us have used a seismograph to measure peak particle velocity and frequency. But do we really understand why? Also, why do we measure particle velocity instead of displacement and/or acceleration? What is the vector sum? How do these items relate? Where does frequency fit in? This workshop will attempt to answer these and other questions. Some of the answers may surprise you, others may not.
