Abstract
The success of a blast using ANFO in wet boreholes is dependent on the quality of the bag the ANFO is packaged in. When a shot fails the dragline may stop and expensive redrilling may be necessary. The total loss to the mining operation can be hundreds-of-thousands-of-dollars.
