The Potential Impacts Of Questionable Instrumenation Data

This paper examines a complex earthwork project in the Washington DC metro area that had project delivery directly impacted by questionable instrumentation monitoring data. The case study summarizes the impacts to the project caused by questionable instrumentation data and reveals how the authors were able to utilize data to extract meaningful insights. The case study also demonstrates how clear data presentation became a key factor in maintaining stakeholder trust and facilitated progress of the project schedule.
