The coarse indium ingots produced by Shaoguan smelter contained a lot of impurities. In order to produce the high pure indium with the purity more than 99.99%, the appropriate refining processes were designed and the practice of combined application of Glycerin-KI process and electrolysis in Shaoguan smelter was introduced.
