Most of the known in-place reserves of oil sands are found in Canada. These oil sands ores are mined using various processes to extract bitumen. The by-product slurry resulting from the extraction process, known as tailings, is discharged into tailings ponds. Fine kaolin clays are an important ingredient of the tailings because they remain suspended in water for many years. Current polymeric flocculation/dewatering technologies use acrylamide-based polymers such as polyacrylamide (PAM), but sediments produced using PAM-based flocculants hold considerable amounts of water due to the formation of loosely-packed flocs. Anionic polymers are better flocculants due to bridging and the charge-neutralisation mechanism. In this paper, we will compare the synthesis of two flocculants: thermosensitive, anionic flocculants and thermosensitive, hydrophobically modified anionic flocculants. The first flocculant is a copolymer of acrylic acid (AA) and N-isopropyl acrylamide (NIPAM), in which AA is the anionic monomer. The second flocculant is a copolymer of NIPAM, AA and the hydrophobic monomer N-tert-butyl acrylamide. We evaluated the dewatering efficiency of 2 wt per cent kaolin using both flocculants by comparing settling rates at different flocculant dosages, charge neutralisation ability and supernatant clarity. To better understand floc formation, we measured the floc size formed by both flocculants at different flocculant dosages. Energetics has been in the business of climate change for more than twenty years. This experience has only served to cement the understanding that decisions taken during design define the environmental and economic performance of any project. The 80-20 rule definitely applies, with 80% of a project’s performance being set through the first 20% of design decisions. This in depth knowledge is used for determining energy price forecasts, future carbon markets and carbon costs, current and future energy technologies, as well as giving a thorough understanding of the processes and technologies in place in the mining industry to work out what the most carbon and energy sensitive decisions during design are. Project selection and design is a gated process where decisions are taken in line with the information available at that point in the evolution of the project. Design decisions are, by their nature, dominated by uncertainty. In order to ensure that robust decisions are taken, it is necessary to ensure that the correct information is brought to bear at the correct decision point. This then defines and supplies the necessary carbon and energy information for design decisions to be correctly made. One of the most significant risks facing design engineers and decision makers in the mining industry is the future cost of energy. Part of this risk is associated with a future cost of carbon, however, a significant part of this risk is the cost, and variability in this cost, of the energy itself. This paper investigates the information required to support good decision taking during the design process.Project Managers and MetPlant Operators accept poor quality evaluations because they are generally unaware of what they should expect.The 2010 draft AusIMM ‘Guidelines for Techno-Economic Evaluations’ were collated by a subcommittee of practitioners and are regarded as best practice.They apply directly to projects and metallurgical plant evaluations, including those with a heavy technical basis. They can be applied to technical problem solving where there are no monetary computations.Project Managers and MetPlant Operators should demand that economic models and evaluations follow the six principles. They should become working tools which are easy to understand, fit for purpose, consistent, rigorous, record sources of input data, have key graphs and are rapid to audit.

Thank you for the opportunity to speak at this important conference attended by aspiring mining professionals, some of whom will become the leaders of the mineral resources industry that forms the solid foundation of AustraliaÆs past and that will fuel the exciting growth of AustraliaÆs future.I want to briefly touch on the history of our business, then look at the opportunities that exist in the contract mining industry and finally comment on what the educators need to consider in their curriculum to meet the needs of our business. Byrnecut started out as an idea in early-1987 developed by a group of four mining people. At the time the industry was on the high end of a mining boom, the era of the Bonds, Connels, Skases and so on. Riding on this wave of euphoria we borrowed $600 000 from the National Australia Bank and, without having enough knowledge to lose sleep over the potential risks, started business in mid-1987. The euphoria quickly evaporated with the 1987 October stock market crash. The bank pulled our overdraft, equipment finance rates increased to over 20 per cent per annum and my house was mortgagedseveral times over. The business learning curve was extreme for a young mining engineer who had developed his trade in the relatively sheltered environment of a large public mining house, namely WMC. We were somewhat bitter that the banks had done a runner. We were a private company, backing the business with personal assets with our shoulders to the wheel, whilst the Bonds of the world had theirnoses in the trough ripping off mum and dad shareholders. All of this had a sobering effect, namely keep your feet on the ground, stick to the knitting, work hard and worship cash flow. Since that stressful but adrenaline pumping beginning the company now employs over 600 people and is now working for major mining houses at over a dozen locations in Australia, east Africa and WesternEurope and the National bank is again our banker. On this basis I consider myself qualified for the subject of this speech.

Mine planners frequently face the challenge of mitigating the impact of climatic events on mining operations, such as floods and droughts. Specific water management infrastructure can be implemented to meet operational requirements in response to these events. However, the effect of flood protection, for instance, may reduce the resilience of the site to drought. The probability and duration of unfavourable climate sequences significantly influences the net present value (NPV) of implementing specific water management infrastructure.Good life-of-mine planning will consider the incremental development of the project, and provide staged development plans. Mining operations in the Obuasi mine of AngloGold Ashanti Limited began in 1897 using mainly gravity concentration and amalgamation to recover the gold from predominantly high-grade quartz ores. The mine is primarily an underground operation, although some surface mining still takes place. Ore is currently processed by two main treatment plants: the Sulfide Treatment Plant (STP) for underground ore and the tailings treatment plant for tailings reclamation operations. STP was commissioned in February 1994 to treat 180 000 t/m of double refractory gold ore and it hosted the then world's largest commercial scale bacterial oxidation plant which uses Gencor's BIOX« technology. Gold is recovered by gravity and flotation, with the regrinding of the sulfide concentrate before bio-oxidation to liberate locked gold in sulfi de minerals. The BIOX« product is leached using the carbon in leach (CIL) process. Gravity gold recovery is a major component of STP operations and its contribution to overall plant recovery is about ten to 13 per cent. Gravity recovery has undergone series of technological upgrading, since the very first circuit which consisted of a Knelson concentrator and a Gemeni shaking table which was incorporated into the milling circuit at the start of the plant. Presently, each of the gravity circuits which consists of Knelson concentrator(s), cyclones and Gekko InLine Reactors (ILR), are located at the Milling and BIOX« circuits. More recently a new gravity recovery facility comprising of four 48 inch Knelson concentrators and cluster of ten inch cyclones have been incorporated at the tail of the flotation circuit. An additional ILR will be commissioned in 2010 to treat the concentrate generated from the new Semi Autogenous Mill #2 (SAG 2) Knelson: concentrator tower under construction. Since the inception of STP, significant gravity recoverable gold has been recovered via Knelson concentrators and the employed circuits have seen a number of modifications and upgrades, motivated by ore mineralogical changes and recovery concerns. The pioneering adoption of the ILR technology in 2001 and 2003 was a critical factor in enhancing the improved recovery benefit of the gravity circuits. Therefore the objective of this paper is to highlight the mine's experience in the gravity recoverable gold process with emphasis on plant modifications and gravity equipment upgrade. Operational challenges and the contribution of gravity gold to overall plant recovery are also discussed.

ENGIE, the current owner and operator of the Hazelwood Open Cut coalmine, are in the process of rehabilitating the mine site in preparation for mine closure. Bucket wheel excavators (dredgers) used during coal mining operations are in the process of being demolished, which involves the controlled felling of dredger components using explosives. With the mine located in close proximity to the Morwell township and other critical public infrastructure, it is crucial that the use of explosives and the possible implications for mine stability is well understood. The felling of Large Mining Equipment (LME) will apply an impact load immediately to the underlying coal benches with the adjacent coal batters potentially at risk also of adverse slope stability impacts. This paper presents the 3D stability modelling methods employed to successfully assess the potentially adverse stability implications associated with LME collapse.

So, it is imperative for the lithium industry to prioritise HSE measures to protect workers, environment and surrounding communities. Implementing robust safety protocols and technology helps ensure the sustainability of mining operations and contributes to the overall responsible development of the industry. In this work we present how the Chilean lithium mining industry becomes a safer and more compliant industry using digital transformation (Cochilco, 2018; Bradley et al, 2013; Cabello, 2022).

The Synthetic Rutile (SR) plant operations, North Capel, produce electrostatic precipitator (ESP) fume and kiln scrubber residue. Typically ESP contains about 18 per cent Ti, 13 per cent Fe, 0.5 per cent Mn, eight per cent Si, six per cent Al, 16 per cent C, 0.9 per cent Zn, 0.6 per cent Pb, 300 ppm As, 300 ppm Cr and 5 ppm Cd. These wastes are held in a storage dam together with neutralised acid effluent (AE) liquor. A project was initiated to treat the fume and produce a benign residue that could be delivered to landfill, reducing dam space storage. Plant AE, containing free acid (9 - 14 g/L), Fe (6 - 7 g/L) and Mn (1 g/L), was used to leach ESP. The degree of extraction achieved for various elements include about 20 per cent Zn, almost 50 per cent As, five per cent Al, 0.4 per cent Pb and 15 per cent Cd. Extraction was most effective at pH The residue from AE leaching still contained Pb. TCLP tests of the leach residue produced Pb extraction significantly higher than the 0.1 ppm stipulated by Class 2 landfill guidelines. Other elements (eg As, Cd, Cr) successfully met the limits. Further leaching of the residue with EDTA extracted up to 65 per cent of Pb content. TCLP tests on treated residue showed Pb leaching potential of Lead was removed from the leach circuit as the sulphate by acidification of EDTA leach liquor, allowing EDTA to be recycled. The study showed that one waste stream can be used to treat another and help reduce plant waste.

Gold in sulfide ores is associated predominantly with sulfide minerals and occurs as both microscopic and submicroscopic particles. In non-refractory sulfide ores, gold occurs mainly as coarse- and medium-grained particles. Minute inclusions and submicroscopic gold usually account for a minor portion. In contrast, gold in refractory sulfide ores occurs mainly as minute particles and submicroscopic gold, and microscopic gold usually accounts for an insignificant portion. In gold ores containing carbonaceous material, the preg-robbing nature of carbonaceous material may impose challenges on gold extraction and cause gold losses. To extract gold from refractory sulfide ores, the ore needs to be finely ground and preoxidation is often required. Sulfide host minerals must first be oxidised to create a porous structure through which the cyanide leach solution can penetrate to reach the colloidal gold particles. The oxidation is traditionally achieved by roasting, autoclaving or bacterial oxidation. In carbonaceous sulfide ores exhibiting a preg-robbing nature, the carbonaceous material needs to be treated by roasting, autoclaving or other means to minimise the preg-robbing effect. As a predictive and troubleshooting tool, the gold deportment study plays an important role in gold metallurgy. It determines the deportment of gold in an ore or mill product and identifies the mineralogical issues that may affect or may have affected gold extraction. The information acquired from a gold deportment study can be used to assist in process selection, flow sheet development, recovery improvement and reagent optimisation.CITATION:Zhou, J, 2013. "Current closure objectives and criteria are often difficult to achieve and are not delivering value for money outcomes at closure. Current mine closure processes tend to focus on rehabilitation and revegetation of landform structures to as close to premining condition as possible, rather than focusing on the functions of those structures and values they provided. Because mining has highly disturbed the environment, premining conditions and vegetation are often not achievable and objectives and criteria aimed at achieving close to these conditions have been shown to be very costly.The authors have developed a broader approach to developing mine closure plans that is based on environmental risk and gaining post-closure social, environmental and economic value. We think the focus should shift from trying to return the original landscape to returning functions and values provided on- and off-site. If it is not possible to return values on-site in a cost-effective manner, investment should be provided to deliver equivalent values elsewhere.This process can provide better stakeholder acceptance, deliver better environmental outcomes on the tenement and within the catchment and significantly reduce costs, whist fulfilling closure obligations.This framework should enable closure teams to: focus on the functions and services that are important to achieve as outcomes post-closure, rather than a focus on revegetation and replacing the premining biophysical structure engage meaningfully with stakeholders regarding closure outcomes and link outcomes to stakeholder values conduct transparent option evaluations that enable stakeholders to clearly understand the costs and benefits associated with each option and to participate in dialogue on option selection.We present examples of how the framework could be applied to identify alternate closure options that achieve equivalent value outcomes while reducing the costs of closing the mines.CITATION:Howard, B, Pershke, D and Jones, M, 2014. Following a review of life-of-asset work at MMG’s Rosebery mine in which a proposal to increase production from 0.8 Mt/a to 1.2 Mt/a was mooted, questions were raised as to the seemingly arbitrary reasoning for the production increase. They included: Did the proposal actually add value? Was the production rate from the mine sustainable? Was it the best identifiable value-adding configuration?A multiple scenario analysis study commenced to model how various cut-off grade values against mill throughput, along with associated capital expenditure, would impact on the potential value of the operation. This was carried out utilising the ‘hill of value’ approach promoted by AMC Consultants.The traditional approach to these studies uses a constant cut-off value (NSR – net smelter return) for the whole mine analysis. This was thought to potentially introduce a large amount of variability to the model as different ore types were thought to have different processing costs and different underground lenses were thought to have different mining costs. With the aim of developing a consistent value measure that would be comparable between the lenses, an alternative measure was suggested for all ore block values in this model, irrespective of lens location.The new measure used was a mine variable value (MVV). This allowed for the variable factors of final metal concentrate production to be removed from the ore value. From a mining point this was the haulage distance from ore source to run-of-mine (ROM). For the mill it was the amount of reagents required, varying based on grade together with the amount of power required for crushing, grinding and tailings handling.From the initial run of the model, preliminary results lead to a conclusion of increased value being gained by either increasing cut-off grade or increased mill throughput rate. The validity of the result was tested using alternative price scenarios, which although changed the absolute value achieved did not significantly change the identified value-adding strategies. The realisation of these value increases identified are however contingent on higher sustainable development rates being able to be achieved mine-wide, higher backfilling rates being able to be achieved and overcoming recognised ventilation constraints. Further detailed studies are being put in place to identify the practicality of overcoming these recognised constraints and achieving the higher-value strategies identified.The ongoing objective of the hill of value model built is to keep the model alive as a life-of-asset planning tool and to continue refining the foundation data, such that various mining strategies can be analysed with increased confidence.CITATION:Hills, A J, Hall, B E and Poniewierski, J, 2014. Geomembrane (GMB) liners are being used more frequently for the storage or capping of mine waste due to stricter regulatory requirements relating to environmental protection. The longevity of any liner system will be a function of environmental conditions, design (including materials selection), construction and condition monitoring during operations or closure. Based on experience and case studies, this paper presents a review, from design to handover, of some of the smaller and often overlooked details that can have significant impacts on the performance of the GMB and the project overall.The topics covered will include approaches to selecting and testing GMBs to ensure they are suitable. Design considerations to aid installation and quality assurance during construction. Understanding action leakage rates and the consequences of leakage when it creates whales. The Earth Moving Equipment Safety Round Table (EMESRT) was established by mining companies in 2006 to influence manufacturer's equipment design through a process of engagement. 2010 EMESRT member companies include Anglo American, Barrick, BHP Billiton, Centennial Coal, Collahausi, Newcrest, Newmont, Rio Tinto, Vale and Xstrata.Driven by a persistent need for retrofits to new equipment, such as haul trucks, EMESRT initially engaged with Surface Equipment Manufacturers including Caterpillar, Komatsu, Leibherr, Hitachi, Le Tourneau and Terex. These OEMs responded positively to the EMESRT initiative, welcoming the opportunity for dialogue with an aligned industry regarding human factors issues related to equipment design, rather than needing to respond to the disparate range of demands for design modifications previously received from individual customers. This engagement process is about making global sustained changes within the OEM organisations and within the mining companies. It is a very international exercise. For example, over two weeks in September 2010, a total of 21 different miners from ten different companies travelled from Australia, South Africa, Canada, Brazil, Singapore and the United States to engage with OEM counterparts who assembled from the United States, Japan, France, Sweden, Finland and Germany. EMESRT Surface Group representatives completed a whirlwind tour of the major North American manufacturers of mining equipment. Starting in Dallas (Atlas Copco, LeTourneau), this tour passed through Gainesville (Sandvik), Newport News (Liebherr), Guelph - Ontario (Hitachi) and Milwaukee (P&H Mining/Joy Global; Bucyrus), before winding up in Peoria, Illinois (Komatsu, Caterpillar). Over nine meetings, this group engaged with 129 individuals from nine OEMs. The EMESRT group welcomed miners from four non-member companies to come along for the meetings. These companies are Syncrude Canada Ltd, the Kearl Oil Sands Project - Imperial Oil (ESSO), Suncor Energy Ltd and Teck Resources Ltd.Other mining industry sectors have now expanded the EMESRT scope from surface mining to include exploration and underground mining equipment. In 2009, EMESRT was organised into four Technical Groups, consisting of EMESRT member company representatives, to focus on engagement with OEMs of surface, underground coal and soft rock, underground hard rock, and exploration drilling equipment. An advisory group has been formed to coordinate activities between all workgroups and provide strategic direction and cohesion between all activities. The Minerals Industry Safety and Health Centre (UQ-SMI) facilitates and coordinates all EMESRT activities on behalf of member companies. Building on successes with individual Surface Mining OEMs, EMESRT now aims to help OEMs in their transition to a sustainable design process that will incorporate and address specific design philosophies at the concept phase of design, so that significant improvements can be made up front for little cost within the overall budget. EMESRT members plan to educate all stakeholders, internally, within their own companies, and externally, by addressing industry associations, regulators and other end users about new ways of evaluating equipment design based on EMESRT purchasing specifications. This presentation will outline the EMESRT approach and report on progress in 2010.

The head loss caused by metallurgical sampling for slurry streams can be reduced by metallurgical sampler design. When the process volumetric flow rate is reduced by vertical static cutters before the sampling by an equal number of moving cutters to the static cutters, the installation requires less installation head space than other sampling arrangements and is easy to accommodate at suitable locations in the process. Low head loss reduces building costs for the processing plant and operational costs during the lifetime of the plant.The presence of a possible systematic bias in the particle size distribution, solids density and elemental composition between an Outotec MSA 2/50 metallurgical slurry sampler sample and MSA 2/50 manually sampled reject have been studied by a customer. The paired samples were taken as simultaneously as possible. The customer evaluated the possible bias using a paired t-test and provided the assay results to Outotec for further evaluation.The results of the paired t-test showed no systematic bias in particle size distribution, solid density or assayed analytes, except in one analyte with low content and a high relative error. The high relative error in one analyte may have been caused by the same calibration model used in a X-ray fluorescence analyser for both high elemental-content concentrate and very low elemental-content tailings samples. The sampled stream is the tailings of a previous process stage.The results of the t-test were studied further using analysis of variance to reveal the error sources in samples. The results showed no bias between the samples collected from the MSA 2/50 reject and composite samples collected of the MSA 2/50 sample stream. The role of flotation columns in comparison with conventional mechanical flotation cells is discussed under the scenario of Brazilian flotation technology. All iron ore concentrator circuits commissioned since 1990 incorporated column only flotation technology in rougher, cleaner, scavenger configuration. Columns were also added to existing circuits, especially at the cleaner stage. Columns were also incorporated to phosphate ore flotation circuits operating mechanical cells. In two phosphate concentrators, columns substituted for all mechanical cells. Columns perform the cleaning stage in a large sulfide copper concentrator, following rougher flotation in tank cells. Scavenger of the cleaner tailings is performed in tank cells at this plant. Other ores that are concentrated in flotation columns include graphite, talc, lead-zinc sulfide, and a zinc hydrometallurgical residue for silver recovery.

The Hidden Valley Gold Project is located in a remote and mountainous area of the Morobe Province approximately 30 km south of the township of Bulolo and approximately 90 km south-southwest of the provincial capital, Lae. The Hidden Valley deposit was discovered in 1984 with the nearby Hamata and Kaveroi deposits discovered in 1987 and 1992 respectively. Reserves (Harmony, 2009) at these three deposits are 42.1 million tonnes of ore containing approximately 2.9 million ounces of gold and 45 million ounces of silver. A further 5.4 million ounces of gold and 84 million ounces of silver are in the resources category. The process plant is designed to treat 4.2 million tonnes per year of gold/silver ore extracted by open cut mining methods. Ore is classified into three ore types according to oxidation state: oxide, transition and primary. The silver to gold grade ratio is high for the Hidden Valley and Kaveroi ores, generally in the range 15 - 20:1, and much lower for Hamata, typically 1 - 2:1: Primary ore is the dominant ore type at Hidden Valley with sulfur grades up to about two per cent sulfur. Oxide and transition ores are more prevalent at the Hamata deposit, but its primary ore has up to five per cent sulfur grades. Variable ore types, particularly in the initial years of operation, high silver to gold ratios and limited plant site area, due to the challenging terrain, present the main processing challenges for this project. This paper describes the operating strategies and process development for the main areas of this circuit, highlighting selections of processes and equipment that achieve cost effective, yet flexible solutions to the treatment of ores from these deposits.

The growth in production of beneficiated ilmenite products has been one of the most significant trends in the titanium feedstock industry over the past 30 years. In this period, the production of titanium slag and synthetic rutile has grown five-fold to the point where these products represented 56 per cent of total feedstock production in 2000. Additional production capacity is being proposed as the core component of new feedstock supply projects presently under consideration. A high proportion of these products is based on technologies for which the inherent quality of the is an essential factor. Location specific factors also play a large part in determining the cost of production. As the demand for such products grows, and the availability of favourably located sources of ilmenite of suitable quality declines, it can be expected that existing beneficiation technologies will become increasingly constrained. Existing beneficiation technologies, and those which have been developed, but are not yet commercially applied, are reviewed. Future issues which are likely to impact on the cost effectiveness of these technologies, or the quality of final products, are identified. These factors suggest directions for development of ilmenite beneficiation technologies to achieve economic production of the quality of feedstocks which will be demanded by the TiO2 pigment industry in the future.

The transition to more sustainable metal production is receiving much attention at present, and the iron and steel industry is at the centre of the conversation. New, more environmentally friendly production technologies, such as direct reduced iron (DRI) smelting furnaces, need to be developed in a short period of time. This necessitates increased use of computational modelling that incorporates more accurate material descriptions. The combination of large-scale multiphysics models of high-temperature processes with CALPHAD material descriptions leads to infeasible computation times. This can be resolved with the previously reported RapidThermo framework, which has been demonstrated to make equilibrium calculations orders of magnitude faster, within controllable limits of accuracy. In this paper, we explain how further material properties, which are important to modelling hightemperature reactors, can be added to the RapidThermo framework. This can improve the accuracy and usefulness of process and multiphysics models in the development of new technologies, which can significantly accelerate development cycles.

In the context of a case study for an underground gold mine, the value generated by a schedule optimisation tool (SOT) is assessed. SOT is a software tool for underground mine planning that maximises the net present value (NPV) of a development and production schedule. A baseline study measures the NPV of a schedule generated by SOT from a sequence prepared by the site mine planners. Operational resource constraints and precedence constraints are adhered to by the schedule and NPV is evaluated with a financial model including revenues, costs and discount rate, as specified by the mine planner.The case study has several facets in addition to the baselining component. Scenarios were conducted that examined the degree of constraint on operational resources, the projected gold price and unit costs. Life-of-mine schedules subject to optimisation using SOT allowed for equitable comparisons.Haulage was identified as a dominant constraint for the mine. It was one of six operational resources that were used to constrain the optimisation of the mine schedule, with alternative levels for some of these constraints being identified so that their effects on the NPV could be studied. Alternative price projections for gold and different cost projections were identified and their effects on the optimised schedule examined. Price and cost scenarios that brought additional economic material into the schedule at various times in the mine life were considered in comparison to a scenario that assumed no additional economic material would become available.This case study illustrated that the use of a schedule optimisation tool to optimise mine schedules provides mine planners with an ability to perform a wide variety of analyses in a relatively short period of time. Such tools thereby support strategic decision-making that can add significant value to an orebody.The case study demonstrates that by fixing the set of development and production activities to be carried out before optimising the life-of-mine schedule, the mine planners can inadvertently set up a situation where the NPV would be progressively eroded in the last several years of the mine life. Carrapateena is a new underground sublevel cave mine and was officially opened in 2020. It has a mine life of 20 years. Development began in 2016, and with the rare opportunity to start a with a blank canvas and having a long mine life, an effort was made to explore how to incorporate innovative and leading-edge technologies. The Ventilation on Demand (VoD) system was designed with the objective to optimise power consumption and ventilation delivery through the primary and secondary ventilation systems. Primary fans controlled by Variable Speed Drives (VSDs) and dualwinding secondary fans with multiple setpoints control the delivery of overall quantity. Automated butterfly dampeners control the regulation of air to individual production crosscuts, and automated louvres control the exhaust quantities from the mining levels. Ultra-sonic flow sensors are installed to measure air quantity and environmental stations are installed to measure air quality. Both are designed to play a key role in control and calibration of the system. It was quickly identified that no one vendor could provide a holistic solution to meet the design requirements. A strategy was derived to use multiple vendors, harnessing the specific strengths of each. A control system has been developed to allow the Site Operations Control Centre (SOCC) to oversee and control real-time delivery of ventilation as required by operations. The first full level installation of the VoD system was completed in September 2020.
