This paper sets out to discuss some of the more common forms of geological data abuse in project development. The paper illustrates various types of abuse and the reasons behind that misuse of data. This paper is only a brief introduction to a very large subject.

This paper shows how small calculators can be used for ball mill simulations. Two calculations are examined, the first to calculate the mill parameters and the second to predict the mill product. In the case of small programmable calculators the programs for two common models are given.

Supergene enrichment of ilmenite occurs through a complex series of reactions with initial oxidation and hydration followed by leaching and dehydration. Lateritization appears to be associated with the early phase of the supergene process and if ilmenite grains are encased in iron oxides no further alteration proceeds.

On the basis of investigations carried out, the author offered new technology, which allows utilising all titanium-contained waste with receiving of finished products: catalysts for utilisation of hydrogen sulfide gases, accompanying oil-extraction. Lime is the common reagent used for pH control in cyanide gold circuits. Lime can be supplied as either quicklime (CaO) or 'hydrated lime(Ca(OH)2). Both are dry powders with variable flow properties. These properties demand special attention when designing machin- ery to handle them.

The Singhbhum Copper Belt is an arcuate zone of verthrusting which extends over a strike length of about 180 kilometres, located in Eastern India, 150-300 kilometres west of Calcutta. The Belt is noted for its mineralisation, and both copper and uranium are currently being mined within it.
