In the current climate of changing the approach to mining and treatment of mineral resources, processing technologies are being developed that require little maintenance and are economically as well as ecologically sustainable. This may also involve the development of entirely new ways of ore processing. One promising approach is to use bioleaching for the pretreatment of gold refractory ores to cyanidation. Capital costs for vat bioleaching of concentrates and ores are very high and cannot be applied for small or medium-size deposits. IRGIREDMET JSC carried out bio heap leaching test work on refractory ore samples from three Russian deposits. Following this biological treatment a combination of flotation, vat bioleaching, and cyanidation are used to recover gold. After heap bioleaching, gold recovery was 75-80 per cent. It was found that efficiency of heap bioleaching process depends on ore feed size. High duration of this process is another feature and it lasts for about a year. This process can be also used for carbonates in the combination with other process during which acid generation occurs. The results of our studies have shown that this technology is amenable for refractory gold ores. Its introduction allows an increase gold recovery and to solve a number of environmental problems. Laboratory scale experiments were conducted to produce titanium-rich material from Panzhihua ilmenite. The results showed preoxidation with sodium salt additive especially for Na2B4O7 signif- icantly advance the reduction of iron in Panzhihua ilmenite. Acceleration mechanism of preoxidation with Na2B4O7 has been studied here. The maximum metallization of iron 92% can be obtained under conditions of preoxidation at 850? for 30 min and subsequent reduction at 1100? for 150 min. The rusting separation technique to reduced ilmenite has been further studied, obtaining titanium-rich product with TiO2 over 82% and the recovery of TiO2 above 97%.

As the world reserves of high quality ores are getting depleted at a rate higher than ever, the liberation of valuable minerals from low grade ores is becoming more and more relevant and imperative. But, liberation of minerals from low grade ores requires grinding of ore to extremely fine sizes. High energy milling in a planetary ball mill is one such option where one can produce particles in the nano-meter range. Although planetary mill is employed extensively for ultrafine grinding, dynamics of grinding inside the mill is not fully understood because of the dependency of grinding kinetics on many interconnected phenomena like collisions between media, particles and wall, time dependent rheology, adsorption and desorption of dispersant, abrasion of media, agglomeration of particles, etc. It was well articulated in literature that media motion and number of media collisions have strong effect on grinding kinetics and final product size distribution. Simulations were carried out using the discrete element method (DEM) to compare the performance of a planetary mill with a ball mill, with and without lifters, in terms of impact energy and number of collisions and it was found that number of collisions is considerably high in the planetary mill. The high number of collisions might be the reason for production of ultrafine particles in the planetary mill. We have also fitted a population balance model (PBM) to experimental data from a laboratory scale planetary mill for prediction of particle size distribution. Unlike previous models, we have incorporated functional forms for the selection function and the breakage distribution function so that the number of parameters in the PBM is just five. The predicted product particle size distributions at different grinding times are in reasonably good agreement with experimental data.

"In this study, the flotation characteristics of a cassiterite-bearing fine-grained and complex skarn ore from a deposit in the Ore Mountains is investigated. The tests are performed using an oil-assisted column flotation approach to process very fine ore fractions and avoid losses of cassiterite into the tailings. First, process parameters are obtained for a finely ground artificial mixture of quartz, magnetite and cassiterite, simulating the real ore. Thereby, magnetite is used, as iron oxides can have a detrimental effect on the flotation due to a similar flotation behavior. In addition, they can act as a source of multivalent ions, which are known to reduce the concentration of collector molecules, active for flotation. Based on the results, selected parameters are further tested for cassiterite skarn ore from the Hämmerlein deposit including a pre-conditioning and a water exchange step to remove ionic contaminants. The process response is analyzed in detail by XRF (X-ray fluorescence) and MLA (mineral liberation analysis) to get a better understanding of the behavior of the single ore components. Sulfosuccinamate type surfactant is utilized as the collector, emulsifier and to reduce the froth destabilization through nonpolar oil. Sodium hexafluorosilicate is added as the depressant.INTRODUCTION Complex skarn ore deposits containing considerable amounts of tin, indium and other metals are located in the Ore Mountains region (Germany). In this study, a skarn ore from the Hämmerlein deposit was investigated. Due to the finely disseminated nature of this ore, past beneficiation attempts failed, and the ore was considered economically unprocessable. However, increasing resource demands brings it back into focus (Schuppan and Hiller, 2012). Cassiterite is the main tin bearing mineral in this ore. Due to its high density (~7 g/cm³), the predominant beneficiation technique is gravity separation (Angadi et al., 2015). Tin ores from disseminated deposits have to be extensively comminuted to reach a sufficient degree of liberation of the cassiterite grains. As cassiterite has a brittle nature, it is preferable enriched in small size fractions, during comminution (Angadi et al., 2015). Gravity separation methods become more and more inefficient for particles smaller 40 µm (Falcon, 1982), causing tin losses of up to 30 to 40wt.-% (Angadi et al., 2015). Thus, froth flotation of cassiterite was first utilized in Altenberg in the Ore Mountains as an additional processing step to reduce the cassiterite losses into gravity separation tailings (Bulatovic, 2010; Gruner and Bilsing, 1992). Although the reported lower size limits for an effective cassiterite floatability are often smaller compared to other minerals, the flotation performance is in general decreasing for small particle sizes < 10 µm (Trahar and Warren, 1976). Therefore, different approaches have been already investigated for the flotation of such fine cassiterite fractions to overcome the limits in particle size. Bilgen et al. investigated the shear flocculation of cassiterite with a sulfosuccinamate collector (Bilgen et al., 1994). The agglomeration flotation of cassiterite has been tested by Schubert et al. (Schubert et al., 1966), in which the selective coagulation of fine hydrophobic particles and oil droplets leads to an increase of the effective particle size. Recently, Leistner at al. investigated an oil-assisted agglomeration flotation for ultra-fine cassiterite ore fractions (Leistner et al., 2016). However, a poor response due to an increased concentration of Fe and Ca ions, unselective oil/gangue coagulation and froth instability, that is caused by oil/frother interactions, has been observed."

"Tatasteel’s West Bokaro washery#3 is designed to deslime raw coal at 0.5mm; the oversize (+0.5mm) is beneficiated in dense media cyclones (DMC) while the undersize (-0.5mm) is beneficiated in froth flotation (FF) cells. Nearly, 80% of the raw coal feed reports to the DMC circuit consisting of four parallel streams. Presently, the performance of DMCs at washery#3 is interpreted by: (a) comparing the actual plant yield w.r.t the lab predicted yield and (b) misplacement of clean coal to middllings.However, the comparison between actual & lab predicted yield is fallacious given the fact that the lab predicts yield of the borehole sample while the feed received at the plant has different characteristics altogether due to the dilution during mining. To mitigate the said limitations, a quick diagnosis tool using the past data has been developed that will give a prediction of performance of different coal seams in the DMCs, inputs being feed ash to DMCs and stream wise feed specific gravity (coal & magnetite combined).The tool also will help in identifying the root cause on real time basis thereby helping the operator to take necessary corrective actions. The operator can intimate the mining personnel in cases of shale reporting to the feed as a result of dilution during mining. In events of higher standard deviations between the parallel streams w.r.t feed specific gravity, the operator can adjust the parameters accordingly to minimize the yield loss. INTRODUCTION West Bokaro came into existence in 1948, as an independent coal company, managed by M/S Anderson Wright. Tata Steel acquired the Company in 1956 to meet its requirement of metallurgical grade coal for Iron making. Subsequently, in 1976, it was made a division of Tata Steel. In 1974, when coal mines were nationalized, West Bokaro was exempted as it produced coal only for captive consumption of the Steel Works. The first washery of India was set up in West Bokaro. The business objective of the West Bokaro division is to produce clean coal at optimum cost for captive use in the steel plant of Tata Steel at Jamshedpur. The strategy is to reduce ash with minimum loss of yield so that quality of coal improves and yet the cost is beneficial vis-a vis imported coal. The primary product is the metallurgical grade coal for coke ovens, which converts coal into coke for use in the Blast Furnaces."

"Over 50 mln.tonne is the average annual output of oxidized ferruginous quartzites typically containing Fe38-42% mined in Mikhailovskoye ore field. The most promising and cost-effective way to expand concentrate production maintaining current output of magnetite is processing of oxidized ferruginous quartzites (hereinafter referred to as OFQ) mined as a by-product in Mikhailovsky open pit mine. However lack of proven and efficient concentration and agglomeration process applicable to OFQ and insufficient data for feasibility evaluation of OFQ processing encumbered full-scale addressing of this challenge. Based on outcomes of multiple various studies a process of OFQ flotation was designed by MC Metalloinvest LLC and PJSC Mikhailovsky GOK engineers. Comparative lab-scale testwork have proven performance and production advantages of flotation against magnetic separation feat. flotation and combined concentration method. Lab-scale flotation enabled production of concentrate with average Fe66.6% and SiO22.06% grade. Geologic and production contouring of OFQ deposited in Mikhailovskoye ore field has been carried out to collect necessary data for feasibility study incl. cost and profit estimation. As a result processing and production properties of over 3,500 samples have been analyzed which is characteristic of every direction and level of prospective ore mining within Mikhailovskoye ore field up to year 2032. Following work has been done based on geologic and production contouring of OFQ: – natural typification of ores and production (processing) grades of OFQ, determination of average mineral composition; – correlation analysis of interrelation between OFQ mineral composition and processing features thereof for overall bulk of samples as well as for individual data blocks related to various directions of open pit mine; – OFQ classification with account of defined mineral composition and processing features. Total Fe weight content in chamber product of flotation (known as concentrating ability in flotation) was applied as a major differentiating factor for processing grade classification of OFQ. Three processing grades of oxidized ferruginous quartzites were established as a result of flotation tests run to determine concentrating ability, i.e. – hard concentrated OFQ (TO) – below Fe65%; – mean concentrated OFQ (SO) – Fe65-67%; – easy concentrated OFQ (LO) – over Fe67%. Outcome of this work provided initial data for feasibility study and cost-profit evaluation of medium-term industrial-scale processing of OFQ deposited in Mikhailovskoye ore field."

The possibility to develop an efficient recovery and reuse of concrete materials from Demolition Waste (DW) represents one of the main targets applied to end-of-life constructions dismantling/recycling. The need to recycle end-of life concrete materials is strongly increasing in these last years for several reasons: i) the decrease of steady supplies of good quality natural aggregates, ii) the need to secure ample supplies of concrete aggregates to the construction industry and, finally, iii) the environmental constraints limiting the DW wastes disposal. The fulfilment of these goals produces several benefits, that is: i) a reduction of new resources consumption, ii) a strong reduction of the costs linked to transport and energy production, iii) the possibility to utilize materials, otherwise lost (e.g. land filled), iv) land preservation and, finally, v) the reduction of the environmental impact of new exploitation activities. A lot of efforts have been addressed to develop, set-up and apply innovative technologies to maximize DW conversion into useful secondary raw materials. The possibility to utilize efficient, reliable and low cost analytical tools to perform detection/control actions: i) to assess concrete characteristics, before demolition, and ii) to detect the presence of contaminants in coarse aggregates (e.g. bricks, gypsum, steel, glass, plastics, wood, etc.) represent the key issues to fulfil in order to develop innovative process/control actions/procedures inside the DW sector. In this paper a new technology, based on HyperSpectral Imaging (HSI) sensors is investigated to develop suitable and low cost strategies finalised to define and implement innovative smart detection engines for sorting and/or DW flow stream quality control, addressed to perform recovered materials and/or products certification. The proposed sensing architecture is fast, accurate, affordable and it can strongly contribute to bring down the economic threshold above which recycling is cost efficient.

In this study, the effect of different regrinding conditions on the depression of fine pyrite at the cleaner stage was investigated. The regrinding condition was manipulated by different grinding media (stainless steel and mild steel). It was found that, after regrinding with mild steel grinding media, the flotation recovery of pyrite is much lower than with stainless steel grinding media, and it is more difficult to restore by adding more collector. This means, regrinding with mild steel grinding media may depress the pyrite flotation more strongly. The copper activation of pyrite during regrinding was also studied. It was found, that the mild steel grinding media is more beneficial to copper activation than stainless steel media. Additionally, the analysis of pyrite recovery based on the particle size indicated, that the fine particles are more susceptible to different grinding environments than intermediate and coarse particles and therefore are more easily depressed with a much lower flotation recovery.

"With flotation cells scale-up, the performance of flotation cells is increasingly variated for short-coming and dead zones existing. The residence time distribution which shows the movement of tracers can assess the unexpected flows such as short circuit and dead zone in a flotation cell. In this paper, the residence time distribution of pilot flotation cell is investigated with CFD simulation. Based on the theoretical model, the short-coming probability and dead zone probability are quantitative. The ideal average residence time is similar with the actual average residence time. The mixing effect of the flotation cell approaches the ideal continuous stirred tank reactor. The operating parameters such as speed and feed velocity have complicated influence on residence time distribution. The research would be helpful to understanding flow in flotation cell and improving performances of flotation cell.INTRODUCTIONFroth flotation is a method which purifies minerals according to difference of physical and chemical surface characters of different mineral particles (Shen, Z., Chen J, 2012). Flotation cell is a key equipment for froth flotation method. Residence time distribution is an important fluid hydrodynamics which could reveal the flow of pulp, mixing of particles and air bubbles. In the flotation cell, the ideal average residence time of pulp could obtain easily. But the fluid differential units would be different flow paths. The residence time of the fluid differential units is variation and would be longer or less than the average residence time. The residence time distribution would reveal the mixing effect and predict the not ideal flow in the flotation cell such as shorting cutting, dead zone, etc. As we know, the shorting cutting and dead zone would be decreased the real flotation time and it is disadvantage to better flotation effect, especially for large flotation cell. It is impossible to eliminate the not ideal flow totally. It is very important to reveal and decrease the shorting cutting and dead zone probability in the flotation cell."

Coal beneficiation with optical sorting has not yet been studied in detail. Optical separation of coal from gangue particles as a dry method can be used as an alternative to the other enrichment methods. Developments in optical and pneumatic technology put the optical sorting one step forward by means of applicability of the mechanical sorting to the mineral industry. Because of the inefficient separation performance, dry separation of coal is very limited in industrial applications. Therefore, optical sorting depending on color differences between two minerals can be introduced to coal beneficiation systems. In this study, coal samples obtained from Konya-Ilgin region (Central Anatolia-Turkey) were separated by optical sorter and the results were evaluated. The conventional floatability tests for Ilgin coal are conducted by collecting most of the feed material at 1.3-1.4 g/cm3 density range. Separation of Ilgin coals with heavy medium methods will not be possible because of poor density difference between coal and its impurities. There are important color differences among the floated particles at 1.3-1.4 g/cm3 density range. Therefore, Ilgin coal is subjected to optical sorting in a pilot scale optical sorter. Different size fractions were fed to the optical sorter and then rejected and accepted particles by equipment were analyzed. Ash content of the accepted particles was reduced to 25-35 % and ash in tail increases up to 55-60 % after sorting. Although most of the material floated at low densities, optical sorter separated the feed into two different quality products. This study has the potential to clarify applicability of optical sorting even to non-floatable coals and to provide an important contribution to both industrial applications and literature.

During the last decade the output of mining companies has increased rapidly. The key driver is the increase in demand for raw materials in the developing world, and thus this demand has driven up ore prices. From the time when the Raw material group (year 2000) started to introduced their index, it was set to 100 points. Today, year 2011, the index is over 400, which means that ore prices have quadrupled since then. Mine companies have to go deeper in the mines to access the ore bodies to increase the mine capacity and to be able to respond to the market. By going deeper in the mine, there will be new challenges that have to be considered. One of these challenges is how to handle the mine water that is produced in the mine. The water has to be moved to the surface in order to keep the mine from flooding, and this causes more challenges. One solution is to pump the mine water up to the surface without treatment; however, this causes considerable pump wear and the water will still require treatment on the mine?s surface. Another solution is to treat this water in the mine before pumping it to the surface. Metso Minerals has a system solution to treat the mine water, by separating the solids from the mine water. This system reduces the erosion in the pumps and will save many maintenance hours in the long term. One other option is to use the treated water in a closed circuit and reuse it in the process. This system can be divided into three steps: Firstly, a spiral dewaterer to remove the coarse solid particles. For the next step, lamella thickener is used to remove most of the solids, and lastly tube press to handle the sludge from the underflow lamella thickeners. Copper metal has important role in the basic industrials, as if it did not exist, modern human life would not develop! Copper leaching, as the first step, is important step in copper production processes. In this research, efficient factors on the leaching have been investigated. For this reason, four efficient factors on leaching namely pH, liquid to solid ratio (L/S), temperature and time, as independent variables, were optimized using response surface (RSM) with D-optimal. A quadratic equation was used to create response and contours. According to the results from analysis of variance (ANOVA), the value of determination coefficient (R2=96.77%) indicates that the model was good fit. Optimum experiment condition also was found: pH of 1, L/S of 8.24, temperature of 26.06 ? and time of 43.64 min. At this condition, the maximum recovery of copper was equaled to 92/38 in which good desirability achieved.

As core part of flotation column, aerator has been always priority research. A new type of porous aerator made of stainless sintered microcellular material is designed , which diameter is between 20µm to 40µm. High bubble surface area flux is obtained at low air pressure 20kPa by this type of aerator in water. In order to extend its applied range ,experiments were carried out in alkali slurry (pH=12) , resulting with porous aerator clogged after working 20 days . Sampling the cross-section of aerator detected by microscope and X-ray diffraction ,the reason clogging was found. Then plugging aerator was reactivated after putting it in acidic liquor treated by ultrasonic for about ten minutes. On-line aerator maintenance can be done in no down time , and it can be repetitive-used after recovered ,so reduced capital costs.

The understanding of particle surface properties is essential for the study and evaluation of froth flotation phenomena, particularly in the investigation of various chemical or reagent effects. Dynamic Vapor Sorption (DVS) is a method used for the analysis of surface properties of powders for instance in the pharmaceutical industry. To the knowledge of the authors, it has however not been used before in applications related to mineral processing. The DVS technique involves measurement of the water uptake of a relatively small amount of sample as a function of the relative humidity (% RH) in a temperature-controlled environment. The purpose of this work was to evaluate the method and investigate how it can complement existing techniques for surface characterization in mineral processing. Four samples (feed, CuPb concentrate, Cu concentrate and Pb concentrate) from the Cu – Pb flotation process in the Garpenberg concentrator, Sweden, were analyzed by DVS and the traditional capillary absorption technique (Washburn capillary rise). This enabled comparison between the two methods and evaluation of their respective advantages and disadvantages. Both methods give the expected ranking of the hydrophobicity for CuPb concentrate, Cu concentrate and Pb concentrate, but a discrepancy was observed for the feed. Washburn gave a value for the contact angle which was in the same range as for the CuPb concentrate, whereas DVS gave a value for the moisture uptake which was much higher than for the CuPb concentrate. Thus, DVS ranks all samples correctly, but with an unexpectedly high value for the feed whereas Washburn gives good ranking for three samples out of four. Potential reasons for the discrepancies are discussed.

Laboratory test equipment and methods have undergone relatively little change since their introduction in the 1950’s. The Denver sub-A cell is still by far the most commonly used laboratory batch cell, but bottom-driven and instrumented cells are beginning to appear. Test procedures have also changed little over the past 60 years, and most engineers continue to rely on empirical models for predicted plant scale performance from laboratory scale tests. This approach is problematic, because changes in the froth phase characteristics in the lab hamper the reliability and reproducibility of the empirical extrapolation to plant scale. In a previous work, the authors reported on the impact of froth recovery at the laboratory cell, showing that variability in the froth recovery can lead to significant error in the modeled kinetic rate constant unless it is properly accounted for in the scale-up model. In this work, we review the role of hydraulic entrainment in the lab cell, and how variability in particle specific gravity, shape factor, and froth residence time can impact the entrainment recovery.

In diamond ores processing, final waste tailings size, rejected to dump, is one of the most important parameters. On one side, it is necessary to minimize losses of diamonds, whose size exceeds 1 mm, on the other side ? to provide for the plant high throughput and sufficiently low capital and energy costs, which is in greater part connected with disintegration process. Extensive laboratory, pilot-scale and commercial-scale dressability studies of different types of diamond ores have been performed at JSC ?Mekhanobr Engineering? in recent years. With that, special consideration was given to determination of the required ores? disintegration size that would provide for a high recovery of diamonds. In diamond ores processing, in order to exclude breaking of large diamonds, stage disintegration is used with regrinding of light fractions and heavy fraction X-ray fluorescent separation tailings. On account of rather weak bonds of diamonds with enclosing minerals, in crushing and grinding of diamond ores, selective disintegration takes place, with aggregates? breakup along plane surfaces of least bonding, which facilitates liberation of diamonds and their transition to free state. Heavy components losses with different sizes of final dump tailings were studied in processing of large samples. It was established, that in order to almost completely exclude losses of heavy components over 1 mm size, light fractions had to be ground to 2.5-3 mm size, while X-ray fluorescent separation heavy tailings of -15+3 mm size do not contain diamonds larger 1 mm in aggregates, and their regrinding does not increase total recovery of diamonds. "Ore sorting technology has been rapidly advancing in recent years. Improving expected mill feed grade has a significant benefit to project returns, and can no longer be ignored. When there is an increase in the mill feed grade while maintaining the same throughput, the mine will be able to process much more metal and improve the floatation recovery. There are many more factors that contribute toward the economics of the project by implementing sensor-based sorting technologies covered in this paper. This paper reviews the economic impact on an underground copper-silver deposit with references to the concept of ""profit recovery,"" which is the measurement of recovery based on rock profitability rather than just metal content. The economic impact of sensor-based sorting is discussed in detail throughout the paper. The preliminary economic evaluation of the project compares the mine's base case design versus a design incorporating sensor-based sorting. The paper's primary focus is on economic impacts rather than the explanation of the sensor based sorting results. The sorting data is presented on a scoping level and using a sensor-based sorting study where the best possible results are used for obtaining the grade recovery curves. Also, the breakdown and analysis of the project economics are based on the operating cost available from the particular operation. Any assumptions taken into consideration are also outlined and discussed. INTRODUCTION The mining industry has been adopting Sensor-based ore sorting technology fairly rapidly in the recent years. The ability to increase mill feed grade by rejecting waste grade rocks early in the processing stage is proving to be revolutionary for some operations. These potential outcomes should not be overlooked by both producing operations and prospective projects, thus leading to a wide range of studies on ore sorting. Variability of the quality of phosphate ore feed to the flotation plant has been of great concern for the industry. This variability sometimes resulted in 10% to 50% decrease of P2O5 recovery, a reduction of P2O5 concentrate grade and/or both due to depression of the system. For this investigation, samples of refractory ore and easy-to-float ore were obtained from the same mining area in Central Florida; and then submitted to bench flotation tests using fatty acids (FA). To understand the cause of difference in flotation behavior of these apparently similar ores (grade, mineralogy, and physical appearance), bulk and surface characterization studies were conducted. Based on the results of characterization studies and bench flotation tests on both refractory and easy-to-float samples, it was possible to determine FA surface coverage. It was found that the surface coverage for the refractory ore was between 6.9% and 9.8%, corresponding to 0% and 80% recovery, respectively; whereas the easy-to-float ore showed surface coverage of 17.2% (89% recovery) to 24.6% (98% recovery). Since size analysis, surface area and pore size measurements showed small differences, it was thought that the surface coverage differences could be caused by the ad-sorption of natural compounds onto the phosphate ore surfaces, depressing the system. SEM, EDS, and Leaching and Solvent Extraction (LSX) studies were performed on the phosphate ores to demonstrate the proposed mechanism. This paper summarized our characterization studies, flotation results, and findings. The study showed that the new identified compounds were responsible for the flotation behaviors of the Florida refractory phosphate ores.

The aim of the research is to increase the recoverable value of poor, difficult-to-digest complex mineral raw materials. In the Republic Belarus, universal centrifugal-shock devices have been created for crushing, grinding and classification of ore and non-metallic mineral raw materials in dry mode, which differ from foreign analogues by a higher level of resource saving (including electricity and materials). Dry-ore preparation technologies have been tested on a pilot scale: fine crushing (replacing grinding in rod mills), grinding (replacing wet grinding in ball mills) and pneumoclassification on different types of ores, - which made it possible to identify the criteria for the suitability and unsuitability of mineral raw materials for their use. The possibility of regulating the upper and lower limit of the size of the finished material is established, the possibility of reducing the yield of slimes (-0,020 mm) to 5 times is determined. A comparative analysis of the contrast degree of separation characteristics of ore a similar granulometric composition, crushed in wet and dry conditions, is performed. The achieved contrast degree of gravity properties after dry grinding - 104,3; after the wet - 60.2. When enriching on a centrifugal concentrator, gold recovery to the concentrate after dry grinding increased by 13.12% while improving the quality of the concentrate from 78.3 g/t gold to 90.75 g/t. When testing the gravity-flotation scheme for the enrichment of poor gold-quartz ore, the increment of gold extraction after dry grinding was 7.6% for gravity and 9.5% for flotation; the total increase in extraction is 17.1%. The possibility of flotation of a larger material after dry grinding has been proved, with an extraction gain of 1.5% compared to the flotation of thinner material after ball milling. The influence of dry technology on the efficiency of the leaching of gold and silver (an extraction gain of 5.5 to 10%) and heap leaching (extraction gain - up to 18.3%) was studied. The positive influence of dry ore preparation technologies on the efficiency of gold and silver heap leaching and heap leaching, thickening and filtration is proved. Lines of dry ore preparation technologies can be used in modular complexes for processing technogenic raw materials.
