Pure camsellite samples were prepared through crushing, sorting and grinding the high-grade iron-containing camsellite ores from Fengcheng, Liaoning, China. The flotation behaviour of camsellite was studied via a systematic investigation of camsellite flotation re-covery changes as a function of choices and dosages of collectors and depressants at different slurry pH. The results showed that at pH 8.5 to 9.5, the recovery of camsellite reached the maximum at 90%~93.5% using dodecylamine as the collector, while under the same condition a recovery of 84%~86% could be achieved with sodium oleate. The adsorption of dodecylamine was not affected by the addition of sodium hexametaphosphate, but the adsorption of sodium oleate could be significantly depressed. This implied that sodium metahexaphosphate could be used as an effective depressant for the other associated minerals during the dodecylamine flotation of camsellite. When starch was used as the depressant, the flotation of camsellite by sodium oleate was almost completely depressed in the alkaline conditions. Significant depressions were also observed when calcium chloride was added in the camsellite-sodium oleate system. The higher the slurry pH is, the stronger the depression. Zeta potential measurements indicated that the flotation was mainly initiated by the electrostatic adsorption of the collector on camsellite. X-ray photoelectron spectrometer (XPS) analysis showed that the adsorption was originated from the electrostatic attraction between the N atom in dode-cylamine and B atom in camsellite. Dodecylamine had a higher coverage on the camsellite surface than sodium oleate.

In this study, thorium mineral that found in the complex ore deposit bearing bastnasite, fluorite, and barite from Eskisehir - Sivrihisar district has been tried to extract by using HCl and H2SO4 leaching. Ore sample of approximately 3 tons taken from the ore deposit has been homogenized in order to obtain composite samples by means of ore preparation techniques for experiments. Results of chemical analyses of composite samples are as given; 40.8% CaF2, 35.35% BaSO4, 2.01 Ce, 1.5% La, 0.39% and 0.1% Th. HCl and H2SO4 leaching processes have been performed to gain Th in the ore. For determining the optimum particle size, the samples have been ground under controlled conditions and brought to the sizes of 0.065, 0.2, 1 and 3 mm. Leaching experiments have been carried out in both HCl and H2SO4 acids without roasting and roasting at the temperature of 900°C for 1, 3 and 6 h retention times for all particle sizes determined before. In the experiments, the highest Th recoveries reached are as follows; 78.74% Th when H2SO4 and 1 mm particle sized sample used, and 1 h roasting applied and 73.38% Th when HCl and 1 mm particle sized sample used, and 3 h roasting applied. The flotation of low-grade zinc oxide ore which from Guizhou has been researched by sulfuration- amine method. The experimental result indicated that when pH of pulp was 11, good flotation index can be achieved by using sodium silicate as dispersant, mixed amine as collector, and the do-sage of sulfur sodium was 6kg/t, and the recovery of zinc can be heightened by using copper sulfate as activator and Hydroxamicacid as collector. When the zinc feed grade was 4.84%, the zinc concentrates with grade of 39.23 % and recoveries of 75.17 % were obtained by adopting this technics.

Kimberlite weathering has been a topic of ongoing research within De Beers for many years. Using kimberlite weathering as an alternative to crushing has many advantages e.g. power and reducing diamond breakage. Weathering could also possibly be used in conjunction with crushing just to weaken the material and reduce power consumption. These forces have driven current research to investigate whether kimberlite weathering could be utilised for these reasons. Weathering in this context does not refer to weathering over long period of time but rather to disintegration of the material in aqeous media in relative short time periods. Previous published work discussed that the presence of smectite renders kimberlite weatherable and that the amount of smectite determines the rate of weathering (Morkel and Vermaak, 2006). The current work investigates whether cation ex-change or the adsorption of organic species in the smectite interlayer could influence the observed weathering behaviour. The results show that cation exchange does take place in the presence of cation species and that the weathering behaviour can be drastically improved with especially Cu2+ cations. Concentration and time effects of the weathering was also investigated. Weathering tests with organic species such as ethanol, methanol, edta, pentanol, butanol, acetic acid and oxalic acid was performed. The results show that organic species does improve weathering but under these testing conditions was not as effective as cations.

"IsaMill™ has been in operation in the recent past for fine grinding of low grade ores to extract non-ferrous minerals. IsaMill™, typically, consists of a series of uniformly spaced identical disks mounted on a rotating shaft which is encased in an outer shell. The mill offers high energy efficiency for fine grinding and an inherent scalability. But, it encounters certain operational challenges such as non-uniform distribution of grinding media coupled with high wear rate of the disks and solid walls of the mill at specific locations—which adversely affect the mill performance. To circumvent these operational challenges, design modification of the disks through heuristics, by introducing a reduced diameter disk (RDD) at specific locations, is a common practice in industry. But there is no systematic scientific study in this regard. In the current work, we developed a discrete element method (DEM) based model and simulated for the IsaMill™ operation to study the effect of RDD on the efficiency of the mill and wear rate of the solid walls and disks. Since the first set of disks experience the high wear rate due to the high loading of the charge, the RDD was introduced at the first two disks. The simulations were performed at different diameters of the RDDs and at different media loadings. The performance of the mill was analyzed based on the power consumption, the wear rate on disks and the distribution of media particles inside the mill. Besides, the performance variables such as mean velocity of media particles and total impact energy provided useful insights into the milling operation. It was observed that the reduction in disk diameter yields lower wear rate of the disks at the cost of decrease in power draw at a constant high media loading. Whereas, when the media loading was decreased, the amount of wear and power drawn was comparable for both the most reduced and least reduced disk diameters. Therefore, there is an optimum choice of RDD for a given mill loading to maximize the mill performance while reducing the wear rate of the disks."

Printed circuit boards (PCBs) constitute a majorpart of electrical and electronic equipment containing valuable metals such as Cu, Ni, Au, Ag, Pd, Fe, Sn, Pb, etc. The concentration of base and precious metals in PCBs is observed to be several times more than those in their respective ores. Therefore, the recycling of PCBs is necessary to recover the valuable materials. However, the ultrafine particles pose a big challenge. Removal of them is suggested prior to processing by flotation. Froth flotation is observed to be a promising technique for rejecting the plastics from the comminution product. In the present work, enrichment of ground 1.0 mm PCB powder was investigated through flotation route by varying the operating variables such as frother dosage, pulp density, air flow rate and rotational speed of the impeller. The liberation studies indicate that excellent liberation of metal values is achieved from the non-metallic constituents at -1.0 mm size and below. The particulate system is quite rich in metal value with about 23% total metal content. The non-metallic constituents such as plastics are observed to possess strong hydrophobicity while the metal particles in the pulverized mass are hydrophilic in nature. Froth flotation kinetics is studied in depth with a view to facilitate high rejection of plastics and identify optimum operating conditions for the same. A number of experiments are performed to establish the influence of the operating variables on flotation performance. The conditions for achieving higher yield of the metal-rich fraction with respect to a specified grade are discussed in the light of the experimental results. It is found that the requirement of reagents is negligible which could be a very important factor from the commercial stand point. Single-stage flotation increases the metal content from 23% to over 32% with a mass yield of around 75% and over 90% recovery of metal values. 32% of the materials in the feed could be effectively rejected in the float fraction losing less than 4% metal values. The dependence of kinetics on the process variables is also discussed. It was concluded that a high rotor speed helps in efficiently rejecting the plastics. Frother should be added to help stabilize the froth and enhance the kinetics. A moderate air flow is required while pulp density must be kept low for efficient pre-concentration. It is established that the entire -1.0 mm comminution product could be treated by flotation for generating a pre-concentrate. "The paper describes the results of the flotation tests with complex rare metal ores from deposits in the Trans-Baikal Territory. Correlations between the quality of produced wolframite, hubnerite and mica concentrates with or without the presence of various alkaline modifiers are determined. Commonly, rare metal ores contain minerals of comparable value to main elements recovered in processing plants using gravitational methods. The paper describes the results of flotation recovery of valuable minerals – main and associated – from gravity tailings of deposits in the Trans-Baikal Territory. It was found that gravity tailings from the first deposit contained fine-grained wolframite, mica (muscovite, lepidolite etc.), feldspar; hubnerite, scheelite, beryl, fluorite, rubidium-containing muscovite from the second deposit, correspondingly. This paper presents the results of the stage flotation tests with the production of tungsten (wolframite, hubnerite), fluorite and mica concentrates from gravity tailings. Figure 1 demonstrates the flowsheet of tungsten ore minerals and mica stage flotation from gravity tailings of the first deposit.Wolframite can be floated using oleic acid with the presence of soda ash, a complexing collector (IM-50), under slightly alkaline conditions in combination with a nonpolar collector [1, 2, 3, 4]. The study included wolframite flotation using the combination of two alkaline modifiers. Flotation of wolframite was performed after pulp desliming, using tall oil saponified with soda ash. The recovery of wolframite in the concentrate of rougher flotation reached 80-85%; the concentrate contained up to 1% of tungsten oxide that can be upgraded to a saleable product using gravitational methods. This procedure was tested during flotation of wolframite, tantalite-columbite and pyrochlore, and provided high performance regardless of a season, at pulp temperatures of 8-10°C, though fattyacid collectors are significantly inefficient at such low temperatures due to low solubility, dispersion and increased collector consumption, consequently. The introduction of two alkaline modifiers in pulp appears to improve these characteristics.The first stage of the tests was focused on increase of iron-bearing tungsten ore minerals recovery from gravity tailings and stabilization of the cold pulp flotation process."

There was a large reserve of bauxite resources in China. And these resources were mainly the dias-pore-bauxite and contained plenty of aluminosilicate including kaolinite, illite and pyrophyllite. Reducing the contents of aluminosilicate would be significant to the using of Chinese bauxite resources. In this paper, from the single mineral flotation experiments, the surface properties and flotation beha-viours of aluminosilicate including kaolinite, illite and pyrophyllite, using dodecyl amine (DDA), N, N-dimethyl-dodecyl amine (DRN12) and N-dodecyl-1, 3-propane diamine (DN12) as collectors, had been investigated. The flotation results shown that the flotation behaviours of aluminosilicate had been influenced greatly by three amine collectors; and the effect was in the order of DN12>DRN12 >DDA. On the basis of FT-IR spectra and zeta potential measurements, the ionization of surface hydroxyl, as well as isomorphic exchange of surface ions, accounted for the mineral surface charges. And the mechanisms of interactions between the mineral surface and collectors mainly included two modes: electrostatic adsorption and hydrogen bonding; for the DDA and DRN>DDA. 12, the mechanism was mainly electrostatic adsorption; and for the DN12, the mechanisms of electrostatic adsorption and hydrogen bonding both existed. Results of quantum chemistry research shown that the collecting ability of amine collectors was greatly influenced by the electro-negativity of N in the amine molecules; and The |E(EHOMO| and ?E (HOMO-ELUMO) of N atom in DRN12 and DN12 were lower than that of DDA, and the positive charge of ?N group in DRN12 and DA12 were higher than that of DDA. All these calculation results could explain the collecting power of DN12>DRN12>DDA.

A new short combined flow sheet including high intensity magnetic separation and flotation for a rare earth ore in Maoniuping deposit, China has been investigated. Massive conclusive results demonstrate, that it is critical to separate the ore by high intensity magnetic separation prior to flotation for tons of slimes and nonmagnetic gangue existing. The vital technological parameters affecting flotation have been studied in detail. Modified hydroxamic acid is an efficient collector for bastnasite flotation because of its high selectivity. Flotation results also indicate high temperature that play an unfavourable role on the recovery as well as the grade of bastnasite concentrate, when the rare earth ore is floated with modified hydroxamic acid and sodium silicate depressant. Bastnasite concentrates, averaging over 65 percent REO at an overall recovery of 82-84% is achieved by the new beneficiation technology. The purpose of the research is scientific substantiation and formulation of strategy and technical solutions of handling liquid wastes of plants producing and refining copper-zink pyritic ores. In the course of research studied are chemical composition of technogenic waters of mining plants as well as water and alluvia of intake river within and outside a sanitary zone of Southern Ural mining plant using inductively coupled plasma mass-spectrometry and X-ray fluorescence analysis techniques. A particular focus is made on microcomponent composition. Novel data on Cd, Li, Be, Mn, Co, Cu, Zn migration with technogenic flows and accumulation of these elements in alluvia is obtained. It is showed that extraction of valuable components from technogenic waters is a novel problem for refiners that can be solved only in cooperation with mining industry ecologists. Laboratory research of selective copper and zink extraction into corresponding practical products by galvanocoagulation and sulphide precipitation is carried out. Common factors of phase formation are studied using physicochemical modeling, X-ray phase analysis and electronic microscopy. Methods of intensification of processes and increasing of extraction ratio of metals in products are elaborated. A technology of comprehensive processing of undersoil waters is proposed. Enlarged laboratory and pilot plant tests of technological solutions for protecting hydrosphere and extracting metals from mine waters carried out on several plants of UMMC-Holding Corporation showed a possibility of obtaining additional products having weight content of metal which is profitable for consequent metallurgical processing and purification of waters to comply with quality standards. A possibility of transformation of technological chain depending on season variability of water quality is put behind the designed technological schemes.

The aim of the research was to study the thermodynamic characteristics of high-temperature processing of ilmenite concentrate deposits "Central" in a neutral and oxidizing atmosphere, as well as its interaction with alkaline additives. The research was conducted using a scanning colonoscopy on thermogravimetrical analyzer NETZSCH STA 449 F3. A sample of the test material weighing 10 mg was placed in a crucible and heated at a rate of 10 °C/min to 1200 °C in argon or air. Studies have been conducted pure ilmenite concentrate and its mixtures with 5 % and 12.5% of sodium carbonate. The results of the analysis of the thermogravimetric curves it was found that the recovery of the concentrate carbon will come from ulvospinel, not pseudobrookite, and the reaction recovery is possible at temperatures above 900°C. While removing produced in the decay ilmenorutile of iron oxides in an inactive form, for example, iron (III) oxide, it is possible to reduce the quantity of the solution of ilmenite formed during the restoration of the melt anosovite. The analysis of data obtained during heating of ilmenite concentrate with sodium carbonate in concentrations of 5 and 12.5% transition pseudobrookite in ulvospinel is missing, it just breaks down into hematite and titanium oxide, which, in turn, react with N?2??3. It should be noted that increasing the concentration of sodium carbonate in the sample contributes to more complete interaction of iron oxides and N?2??3 with formation of ferrites of sodium. This can ensure full recovery of iron oxides in the concentrate, which is part of secondary ilmenite can not be dissolved in the melt formed by the lower oxides of titanium. In addition, the increase in the content of soda in the mixture significantly reduces the temperature of the initial melting point of the slag and facilitates the coagulation of metallic iron.The obtained results were used for laboratory studies of the solid-phase sintering of briquettes from ilmenite concentrate with additives of sodium carbonate and a reducing – coal, as well as for the development of technological mode of solid-phase sintering of the concentrate with the aim of obtaining product recovery with a titanium dioxide content of more than 75 %.

"Automatic identification and characterisation of mineral raw materials and beneficiated products are of major importance in mineral processing. However, minerals show great variety in their composition and physical and chemical properties. Industrial minerals may contain the same elements in about the same amount. In these cases backscatter electron imaging or chemical analysis are not sufficient to identify the minerals. Another problem arises when micro textures are not detectable in traditional imaging or the grain size is smaller than the X-ray spatial resolution.As a supplementary technique in these cases, application of crystallographic information by electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD) in the scanning electron microscope (SEM) may be a suitable method. By means of EBSD, diagnostic mineral information can be achieved if indexible patterns are provided.Until now EBSD has not been used frequently on geological samples for mineral and micro structure discrimination.The technique has been demonstrated on three Norwegian mineral raw materials and one Italian marble and shows that it has some advantages compared to traditional techniques."

Pilot plant tests of underground gold leaching from Maminskoye deposit oxide ores at a grade of 0,7 g/t Au were carried out. The underground leaching flow sheet includes Au dissolution by chlorine-containing solutions, Au adsorption from solution on active carbon, carbon concentrate ashing and calcine melting to produce high grade gold concentrate. The underground leaching system throughput was 15 m3 of solution per hour. Gold concentration in pregnant solutions was 0.12-0.13 mg/l. Gold recovery from solutions into carbon was in the range of 63-84%. It was demonstrated that the low Au recovery in the adsorption cycle was due to the presence in pregnant solutions of "active" chlorine, which destroys active carbon and causes a sharp decrease of the carbon loading capacity for gold. To improve the adsorption indices, previously dechlorinated pregnant solutions using bituminous coal or Na2S2O3, is recommended. Ion exchange process was tested as an alternative for gold extraction from dechlorinated solutions. In the testwork period, 4.4 kg of gold were produced with a chlorine consumption of 3.5 kg per 1 g of gold. During the tests a program of environmental protection measures was completed to provide the necessary safety precautions of the underground leaching works.

"A novel carbonaceous immobilizing agent for heavy metal contaminated soil was prepared from rice straw using sulfur immersion and pyrolysis, and the lead immobilization in artificial contaminated soils using sulfur-impregnated carbonaceous material was estimated. The rice straws were cut to 1 cm pieces, and then immersed in 0.1 - 1 M K2S solution for 0 - 24 h to prepare sulfur-immersed materials. The immersed-materials were heated at 400 oC for 1 h in nitrogen gas to produce the sulfur-impregnated carbonaceous material by pyrolysis. The abilities of the product to immobilize lead from aqueous solution were examined to obtain the product with high lead immobilization ability. With increasing K2S concentration, the immobilization ability of the product for lead gradually increases and then above 0.5 M K2S those are almost constant, while 15 min is sufficient for the immersed time to obtain the product with high lead immobilization ability. The product prepared from material immersed in more than 0.5 M K2S solution for less than 15 min has a maximum immobilization ability for lead ion. The lead immobilization using the sulfur-impregnated product is sustainable due to the formation of leadhillite [Pb4SO4(CO3)2(OH)2] and anglesite [PbSO4]. The product can immobilize lead ion in various artificial lead contaminated soils. By mixing artificial lead contaminated soil with the sulfur-impregnated product, the eluted solution became neutral, and the eluted concentrations of lead ion dropped below the Japanese elution standard for soil.INTRODUCTION Soil contamination with heavy metals is a worldwide problem. Accumulation of heavy metals in soils affect soil ecology, agricultural productivity, quality of agricultural products, water resources, and serious health problems for human and animal (Raicevic, et al., 2005). In the United States, for example, approximately 63 % of the sites on the National Priority List (NPL) for the treatment of contaminated soils are contaminated by metals, and lead is the most common metal, found at 15 % of the sites. In Japan, according to a report by the Ministry of Environment, 43 % of the contaminated sites that exceed the environmental quality standards are contaminated by lead compounds. Soil contamination by lead compounds is also prevalent in other developed and developing countries where lead compounds are used extensively in industrial activities without careful contamination management. Lead is a ubiquitous heavy metal pollutant in soils due to their use widely. The primary sources of Pb contamination include industrial activities such as mining, smelting of metals, and the use of Pb-containing products such as paints, lead-acid batteries, bullets, gasoline and pesticides (Cao, et al., 2009). It can damage human nervous (especially children) and reproductive systems (ATSDR, 2007). The high concentration of Pb in the soil poses risks to human and animal health by the leaching of metals from the soil into water and the consumption of edible plants growth in the contaminated soil. Therefore, proper remediation is necessary to reduce metal availability in soil for protecting human health."

We have developed a classification of geochemical barriers according to their origin, i.e. natural and artificial, and according to methods and areas of application. There has been an examination of the interaction between different classes of geochemical barriers with sulfate solutions containing nickel, copper and iron. As natural barriers, carbonates (calcite and dolomites) were used. For artificial barriers, a mixture of serpentine and carbonatite, thermo-activated copper-nickel dressing tailings, and a magnesium-containing sorbent based on brucite was used. "The aim of the project was to develop a methodology applicable to different South African coal types to be able to predict with a high degree of certainty what kind of reagent will be suitable for flotation of a certain coal type.The study included 5 coal samples from different collieries and included Highveld seam 3 and 4 coal (as one sample), Waterberg coal (zone 10 -11), Highveld seam 5 upper coal and Witbank seam 2 and seam 4 coal. Seam 3 and 4 (mixture) coal, Waterberg and the seam 5 upper coal were all found to be vitrinite rich coals. The coal characterisation study included petrographic analysis, proximate analysis, float-sink analysis, oxygen-containing functional groups, surface extraction, flotation release analysis and contact angle measurements.The flotation tests showed that the best reagents to float all of the coal samples studied are iso-decanol and dodecene. These reagents produced flotation products that are near to the release curve. Statistical relationship for predicting ash content and yield that can be expected for a certain coal type and selected collector was obtained. From the relationship, the accuracy of the yield is above 95% (p-value below 0.05) with a linear regression of 0.9289. The accuracy of the ash is slightly lower with a linear regression of 0.7841 but also above 95%."

Conventionally, beneficiation in Indian coal washeries is done using dense medium cyclones upto the size of 0.5 mm. Coal fines below 0.5 mm size are extensively cleaned by froth flotation. There are many problems associated with flotation of Indian coals, e.g. poor response of coal particles to flotation, misplacement of fine high-ash material to froth, loss of good quality coarser coals (within ?0.5 mm size range) to tailing streams, high cost of reagents, water contamination, etc. In addition, sophisticated control systems for efficient management of the fines washing circuits are needed. Thus, there is an escalation in the capital and processing costs. In view of these facts, studies were carried out to establish the cleaning potential of dense medium cyclones for beneficiation of fine coal down to a size of 0.1 mm, essentially aimed at reducing the load on fine coal circuits mainly comprising of flotation. ROM Coal (in the size range of -2 + 0.1 mm) obtained from JogtaOCM,Jharia coalfield possessing relatively low ash (about 21%) was used in this study. Purpose for using low ash coal was to further lower, its ash content down to 8% which is comparable, to the ash content of imported coal. After characterization studies, nine tests were carried out on the prepared feed sample for its beneficiation using a dense medium cyclone of non-conventional design (very low cone angle and longer barrel), by varying its apex and vortex finder diameters. The efficiency of separation has been evaluated using Tromp curves. It could be established that it is possible to produce a clean coal of 8% ash, with Ep value of 0.044, using Jogta OCM coal by treating it in a modified dense medium cyclone. The low-grade iron ore sample contains both lumps and fines. It is mostly hematitic iron ore and considerable amount of goethitic/limonitic material is present in it. The major impurities present were quartz and clay. It is observed that the iron bearing phases are poorly liberated above 300 µm and the liberation improves below 300 µm. More than 80% liberation is achieved below 106 µm. Based on the liberation data, the feed for the different beneficiation methods was prepared by stage crushed the ROM followed by grinding passing to 106µm and the ground material (-106µm) was deslimed. The underflow was subjected to various beneficiation techniques such as tabling, enhanced gravity separator (EGS), wet high intensity magnetic separation (WHIMS), and flotation and the results are discussed. All the methods studied could able to produce pellet grade concentrate with iron content of 64.5%, however, a marginal higher yield was observed for WHIMS (81%). "Chelopech concentrator (part of Dundee Precious Metals) is located in central-western Bulgaria. The current process plant utilizes conventional primary crushing and SAG mill grinding, copper and pyrite rougher and cleaner flotation stages to produce a marketable gold-rich copper and pyrite concentrates. As in the most processing plants, the pyrite depression is carried out alkaline media using lime. The subsequent activation of pyrite mineral is achieved by adding sulfuric acid, which has an adverse effect on the flotation equipment. Therefore, a series of laboratory flotation experiment for activation of lime depressed pyrite by ammonium salts, such as ammonium chloride (NH4Cl), ammonium sulfate (NH4)2SO4 and ammonium bicarbonate (NH4HCO3), have been conducted. The obtained results showed that ammonium bicarbonate proved to be the most appropriate reagent choice for pyrite mineral activation. These results are confirmed by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), performed to determine the surface chemistry of pyrite in its natural state, after lime treatment and subsequent treatment by NH4HCO3. The registered XPS spectra indicate that the hydrophilic phases on the pyrite surface could be efficiently removed by using the ammonium salt NH4HCO3. The industrial use of NH4HCO3 as an activator of lime-depressed pyrite is a possible alternative for sulfuric acid replacement as a most widely used pyrite activator. Flotation experiments with addition of 200, 400, 600 and 800 g/t from each of the studied ammonium salts have been conducted. Furthermore, the impact of the flotation pulp pH within the scope of 9.00 – 10.50 was also investigated. The obtained results from the laboratory flotation experiments, showed that the pyrite activation with ammonium bicarbonate is an excellent possibility for replacing the sulfuric acid as main pyrite activator reagent, in order to eliminate the gypsum accumulation during the flotation of pyrite in Chelopech concentrator.INTRODUCTION The Chelopech deposit, located about 60 km east of Sofia is one of the largest Cu-Au deposits in Europe. The ore have complicated mineralogical and chemical composition. The main ore minerals are represented by pyrite, enargite (luzonite), tennantite, chalcopyrite and bornite. The average copper content of the mined ore is about 1.1 % and the gold content is about 4.0 g/t."
