In an earlier paper (Stanton, 1953) a brief account was given of the geological environment and structure of the Lloyd Copper Mine orebody, Burraga, N.S.W. The present paper is concerned with the chemical and mineralogical features of the ore from this mine.Investigation has been made difficult because of inaccessibility of the workings, which have been fallen in for many years. The exact positions within the orebody of the specimens described in this paper are known in only a few cases. The specimens examined are from the collections of the Mining and Australian Museums, Sydney, and from material collected by the writer from the upper parts of the mine and from various dumps about the old workings.However, no significant variations in the nature (as distinct from grade) of the ore have been mentioned in the old reports, or by Carne (1908) or Kenny (1928), so it is likely that the specimens examined are reasonably representative of the orebody as a whole.CHEMICAL CONSTITUTIONThe ore is of simple and apparently very uniform composition.It is essentially a copper ore, with minor amounts of zinc and very minor amounts of lead. Plotting of copper against zinc shows a more or less sympathetic relationship between these at least as far as 20 per cent. copper - the highest grade assayed during the present investigation. The trend of the plots indicates a Cu/Zn ratio of about 15/1 to this point. Lead is very low and extremely sporadic, showing no clear relationships with the other metals.MINERAL COMPOSITIONThe principal non-opaque minerals are quartz and sericite, and these are accompanied by smaller quantities of muscovite, calcite and biotite. A common theme running through recently introduced mining health and safety legislation in many parts of the world is risk assessment. Most recently, risk assessment legislation has been introduced across the mining industry of South Africa and the view that the introduction of risk assessment based legislation provides an ideal opportunity to improve on past health and safety performance is presented. Risk assessment techniques range from highly complex safety system techniques that are used in high technology process industries, to subjective techniques based on simple judgements that are finding use in many other industries. The objective of this paper is to shed some light on risk assessment, not by detailing the risk assessment process but by identifying the crucial elements that need to be considered if risk assessments are to be successful in changing health and safety performance. A case study is presented illustrating the introduction of risk assessment into the Ingwe Coal Corporation, one of South Africa?s largest mining houses, to indicate how the system was developed and how it is being used.

"INTRODUCTION Extensive studies have been carried on pure gold to determine the various factors that affect its dissolution in alkaline cyanide solutions. With the extension of milling to refractory ores more intensive investigations on the effect of impurities in the ore on the dissolution kinetics are needed. The present work describes experiments carried on refractory flotation tailings with the object to determine how the recovery of gold could be increased. The effect of arsenic and antimony in the ore and the excessive use of lime are discussed. "Certain mining methods (eg. Cut-and-fill) result in the contamination of run-of-mine ore with shotcrete. This shotcrete remains mixed with the ore throughout processing. Experimentation performed by Falconbridge Limited revealed that underground contamination of ore by shotcrete (eg. as little as 1% by weight) has led to ill-effects on the nickel recoveries from the flotation process in the mill. The nickel recoveries of contaminated samples were lower than tests without the shotcrete Contamination.To optimize flotation circuits it is important to know why the contamination has created these effects and also to find a method to abate or remove them. Laboratory testing showed that the age of the shotcrete was a factor in it’s effect on nickel recoveries. Younger aged shotcrete gave nickel recoveries lower than baseline nickel recoveries with no contamination. Older shotcrete gave nickel recoveries similar to the baseline.Literature on other cementitious material contaminations on ore revealed that a possible means of remediating this problem is the use of acid in the flotation. The initial pH in the flotation pulp was designed to be pH 9.2, but with the young shotcrete contamination the pH was in the neighbourhood of 10.5. Acid addition may act as a means of lowering the pH to the optimal operational value. Laboratory test work showed that acid addition brought nickel recoveries closer to the baseline."

3D seismic surveys have become a well-accepted method of imaging sub-surface geology in the Bushveld Basin. Because both the seismic sources and receivers are placed at surface, most surveys are limited to imaging faults with >=7 m throw. However, some areas such as shaft infrastructure can benefit from the ability to detect smaller structures prior to shaft sinking. Borehole radar and logs such as the acoustic televiewer can identify these structures in the shaft barrel, but not within -200 m from the shaft. Therefore, Anglo Platinum has developed the method of high-resolution 3D vertical seismic profiles (VSPs) for structural sterilization of shaft sites prior to shaft sinking. VSPs utilize a surface source and sub-surface receivers deployed down a borehole. This means that seismic energy goes through the near surface only once, and therefore suffers less frequency loss than when both source and receivers are on surface. Furthermore, VSPs can record 3 component (3C) data which comprises P wave, Sh (horizontal) and Sv (vertical) wavemodes. Because S waves travel at about 0.6 of the velocity of a P wave, shorter wavelengths and therefore higher resolutions are possible using S wave data. VSPs were first used in their one dimensional, zero offset, mode to correlate borehole geology with seismic stratigraphy within seismic surveys. This showed that VSPs record -30% higher frequencies than surface seismic surveys. The program then applied two dimensional VSPs to the problem of imaging geological structure close to a borehole. 2D VSPs confirmed that high frequency results could be achieved, and that this enabled a more accurate image of the Merensky Reef than could be achieved by surface seismic data. Finally, the program has achieved the successful recording and processing of 3D VSP data, with both compressional and shear wavemodes giving a high resolution structural result. Although P wave data gives -30% frequency improvement over surface seismic surveys, S wave data can give as much as 80% improvement, further improving the structural image achieved. The high fixed costs of VSP surveys mean that they should ideally be run in multi-client batches, which can reduce the per borehole cost by up to 50%. Their application is anticipated to be on high value capital infrastructure with a geological risk from faults which are not imaged by surface seismics-generally in the sub-7 m range. Tracey Khanna, Assistant Editor of UK?s Mining Magazine discusses some of the new and important environmental challenges, physical and social, that are facing mining companies. The tide of public opinion has turned strongly against those companies which are unable to show that they are practising responsible environmental stewardship. This is, no doubt, in part due to the recent focus of the international media on environmental issues and constantly improving means of communications, which has brought the whole subject of mining and the environment to those who, in the past, had only a limited awareness of the industry. Mining companies today face new and important challenges with regard to the environment, both physical and social. New technology and a greater understanding of waste management techniques has helped to bring about improved handling and disposal of mines wastes, so reducing some of the impacts. However, improved technology has also brought about the economic viability of exploiting increasingly lower-grade ore from open pits, resulting in a greater visual impact.

Long range transport of pollutants, particularly of sulphur dioxide and the associated acidic precipitation, has received much attention in the press and in international discussion during the last few years. Studies revealing increasing acidity of lakes and the dying out of fish populations over broad regions of the eastern half of North America have created alarm. In this paper, I will not attempt a description of the acid rain phenomenon. For this r recommend the balanced treatment of the subject by Gene Likens et al (1979) in Scientific Americana For my purposes I accept that the problem is serious and direct my attention to exploring a solution. Ultimately, the key lies in the answer to the question; "What do we do with the enormous tonnages of pollution abatement byproducts, chiefly sulphur compounds, that would arise from pollution control?"' Little thought has been given to this most limiting factor to environmental clean-up. This is symptomatic of a basic flaw in the [philosphy] that under-ins environmental policy. Although this paper is to propose a solution to the abatement byproduct problem, the basic flaw - the firmly entrenched, universally adopted, 'polluter pays [philosphy] as it is currently [understood] - needs some comment.

El reencauche de neumáticos es un proceso que consiste en adicionar, previa evaluación y reparación, una capa de caucho al casco original, de manera que se pueda reutilizar y evitar consumir uno nuevo. Si bien este proceso no es una práctica común, pues se tiene la creencia de que no es rentable, en Minera Las Bambas se viene implementando con éxito. En el 2017, para una flota de 44 camiones Komatsu 930, se desecharon 542 neumáticos en la medida 53/80 R 63, mientras que en el 2018, al reencauchar 130 neumáticos, se desecharon 187 neumáticos menos, equivalentes a 654.5 toneladas anuales. Esto, replicado por los 30 años de estimado de vida de la mina, resulta en 19 635 toneladas menos de desechos contaminantes, con lo que se logra una reducción considerable del impacto en el medio ambiente.

With the increasing demand for metalliferous and mineral raw materials, and consequent depletion of the global natural resource base, the possible utilization of secondary raw material sources is receiving more and more attention. In the present study, we present results from a detailed vanadium deportment study of three basic oxygen furnace slag (BOS) samples known to containing elevated bulk concentrations of vanadium (V). Complementary analytical methods that were used to quantify the abundance and composition of V-containing phases include SEM-based automated mineralogy, Xray fluorescence (XRF) analysis, and X-ray powder diffraction as well as electron probe microanalysis. The vanadium deportment was quantified using Monte-Carlo simulations of the data obtained from automated mineralogy and electron microprobe analysis. The total V concentrations identified by XRF are between 1.7 and 2.2 weight percent V. The most important hosts of vanadium are larnite-, brownmillerite- and portlandite-solid solutions. In two samples, calcium carbonates also significantly contribute to the V deportment, while wuestite, lime and native iron do not contribute significantly to the vanadium deportment. A thorough consistency check identifies considerable uncertainties in the density of the Vbearing phases as the most likely reason to explain remaining discrepancies between measured and calculated V values.

ABSTRACT: An evaluation of the importance of the thermo-hydro-mechanical couplings (THM) on the performance assessment of a deep underground storage design has been made as part of the international DECOVALEX III project. It is a numerical study that simulates a generic repository configuration in the near field in a granite medium. The thermo-hydro-mechanical evolution of the whole configuration is simulated over a period of 100 years. The model used to represent the unsaturated behaviour of the various porous media makes allowance for moisture transfers through the effect of thermal and water gradients. The paper presents a comparison of the temperature, water pressure and stress fields obtained by TM, TH, HM and THM coupled calculations. The results demonstrate that temperature is hardly affected by the couplings. In contrast the influence of the couplings on the mechanical stresses is considerable. This is attributed to the key role that water has on bentonite swelling or shrinkage effects that are dependent on its saturation level variations. ZUSAMMENFASSUNG : Im Rahmen des internationalen Projekts DECOVALEX III wurde untersucht, wie groß der Einfluss thermisch-hydraulisch-mechanischer Kopplungen (THM) auf die Leistungsfähigkeit eines Konzeptes zur Lagerung hoch radioaktiver Abfälle zu bewerten ist. Bei dieser numerischen Behandlung wird eine generelle Lagerungskonfiguration in granitartigem Milieu simuliert. Die thermisch-hydraulisch-mechanischen Prozesse werden für eine Dauer von 100 Jahren simuliert. Bei dem Modell, mit dem das Verhalten der verschiedenen, unterschiedlich porösen Milieus in ungesättigtem Zustand dargestellt werden soll, werden die Feuchtigkeitstransporte infolge thermischer und hydraulischer Vorgänge berücksichtigt. Verglichen werden in diesem Artikel verschiedene Temperatur-, Wasserdruck- und Beanspruchungsfelder, die sich aus TM-, TH-, HM- und THM gekoppelten Berechnungen ergaben. Dabei stellte sich heraus, dass die Temperatur nur gering von den Kopplungen berührt wird. Die Einflüsse der Kopplungen auf die Mechanik sind hingegen bedeutend; ausschlaggebend dafür ist der Faktor Wasser, der den Bentonit je nach Sättigungsgrad quellen oder trocknen lässt. L’évolution thermo-hydro-mécanique de l’ensemble est simulée sur une période de 100 ans. Le modèle utilisé pour représenter le comportement non saturé des différents milieux poreux prend en compte les transferts d’humidité sous l’effet de gradients thermiques et hydriques. L'article présente une comparaison des champs de température, de pression d’eau et de contraintes obtenues par des calculs couplés TM, TH, HM et THM. Les résultats montrent que la température est peu affectée par les couplages. En revanche, l’incidence des couplages sur la mécanique est importante; ce qui est attribué au rôle majeur joué par l’eau à travers les effets de gonflement ou de retrait de la bentonite selon la variation de son degré de saturation. Pillars are any structures left between two or more underground openings. The stability of pillars is normally considered to depend on shape (defined by width to height ratio), rock mass strength, extraction ratio, in situ stresses and the gross structural features (i.e. joints, contacts, faults etc). Recent experience has shown that pillar stability is also controlled by the relative orientation of the orebody with respect to the in situ principal stress. In inclined orebodies, pillars are loaded in compression and shear, thus creating unsymmetrical stress distribution. Failure mechanisms of these pillars are little known. This paper investigates the failure mechanisms of pillars under shear loading. Two dimensional elastic numerical modeling was used to examine the behavior of pillars in different orebody inclinations relative to the major farfield stress orientation. First, the paper reviews pillar design approaches including the empirical pillar design chart and uses numerical modeling to investigate the effect of the major farfield stress orientation on pillar stability. It is concluded that the empirical pillar design chart be used with caution, and that for orebodies under shear loading mine planning and design should take this into consideration since such geometrical orebody/stress relations put mine structures at higher risk of instability.

Arsenic is often associated with gold mining operations and poses a significant health and environmental hazard. While a number of technologies are available for removing arsenic, none of them is effective under all conditions. Although adsorption is a promising approach, most methods focus on the purification of water under neutral or acidic conditions and tend to be less effective in gold mining process waters, operating under alkaline conditions. In this study, the removal of As (III) and As (V) from both arsenic-only solutions and simulated process waters using composite magnetic nanoparticles was investigated. The nanoparticles consisted of magnetite (Fe3O4) or maghemite (?-Fe2O3) cores covered by various metal oxides with Langmuir adsorption capacities of As (III) and As (V) ranging from 31.4 to 79.1 mg/g and 10.2 to 25.5 mg/g, respectively, in arsenic-only solutions at pH 9. Their adsorption capacities were further recognised by the adsorption tests conducted in simulated process waters. The ability to remove As (III) is of particular importance as it is harder to remove it from alkaline solutions. The magnetic cores allow simple and efficient magnetic recovery of the As-loaded nanoparticles.

In February, 1976, Ranchers Exploration and Development Corporation obtained an option from Foote Minerals, Inc., to evaluate reprocessing of two uranium tailing piles. Foote received ownership of the Naturita and Durango tailing piles in 1967 through the purchase of Vanadium Corporation of America. The option was exercised in November, 1976, after initial testwork proved that a viable extraction technique existed. Preparation for production at Naturita began immediately with engineering and en¬vironmental permitting proceeding simultaneously. Production began in December, 1977, just 22 months after acquisition of the property and-was completed 17 months later.

A survey of selected West Coast Streams was undertaken in Summer 2001, Summer 2002 and Winter 2002 to establish the degree of arsenic (As) contamination in waters and sediments downstream of old coal and gold mine workings on the West Coast. Of the catchments studied, Soldiers/Ford Creek and Rapid Stream showed the most significant elevated As concentrations, predominantly in dissolved form, and evidence of AMD or ARD contamination (high sulfate concentrations and/or acidity). The rate and processes of removal of dissolved arsenic from the water column (attenuation) have been studied in these catchments. The Rapid Stream and Soldiers/Ford Creek catchments are directly affected by adit drainage from the Sullivan and Blackball coal mines respectively. Both catchments have high As concentrations in the sediments, with up to 770 mg/kg in Soldiers Creek and 490 mg/kg in Rapid Stream. Dissolved As concentrations are significantly elevated in the neutral pH waters of Soldiers Creek; typically as high as 100 - 200 ¦g/kg, up to 500 m downstream of the main adit discharge (800 ¦g/kg As). Adit inflows to Rapid Stream were acidic and contained 20 - 30 ¦g/kg dissolved As, with relatively high concentrations of arsenic in the stream water in winter (up to 18 ¦g/kg), but not in summer. Analysis of concentration trends and As:SO4 ratios downstream of these obvious As sources confirmed that dissolved As had been actively removed from the water column, but varied seasonally with greater removal evident in summer. Adsorption of arsenic onto iron oxide in the stream sediments is the most likely mechanism of removal. The Snowy River catchment, on the other hand, has relatively high As concentrations in both the sediments and the water column, but there was little evidence of a distinct AMD or ARD input from the Blackwater gold mining area. Preliminary investigation suggests that dilution rather than attenuation is responsible for decreasing As concentrations downstream.

"The Pine Point area is on the south shore of Great Slave Lake, 510 air miles north of Edmonton and J JO miles south of Yellowknife, N.W.T. The occurrence there of lead and zinc was reported in J 899 by R. Bell (5) of the Geological Survey of Canada, and in the following years several claims were staked and some prospecting was done. In 1928 Atlas Exploration Co. took over the property containing the discovery occurrences. In 1929 The Consolidated Mining and Smelting Company of Canada Ltd. (""Cominco"") and Ventures Ltd. participated with Atlas in forming the Northern Lead-Zinc Co., which, under the direction of J. M. Bell, carried out 24,499 feet of drilling in the discovery and surrounding areas. Two shafts and many surface pits were also sunk. This work showed that the discovery deposits contain about 500,000 tons of lead-zinc ore, but no new orebody was found.In 1936 D. F. Kidd (11) drew attention to the highly significant space relations between the base-metal discoveries at Pine Point and the projections of certain major Precambrian faults mapped earlier by C. H. Stockwell. Geological work by Cominco in 1940 and subsequent years suggested the presence of mineable deposits within a belt of land including part of the area of earlier field work and extending far beyond it. Between 1946 and 1954 exploration financed by Cominco and Ventures Ltd. included 182,950 feet of diamond drilling, 383 feet of sinking, and 240 feet of drifting, raising, and crosscutting. This work was successful in finding substantial quantities of new ore in places where bedrock is completely concealed.The topography is one of low relief, characterized in many places by swampy muskeg and shallow, marl-bottomed ponds. The area where ore has been found is generally higher ground which, though not well drained, is comparatively dry. It is also marked by raised beaches and a few sand dunes overgrown by small spruce and pine. Bedrock is generally overlain by a variable thickness of hard, glacial boulder clay. This in turn is covered by silt, sand, and gravel, probably deposited from the waters of Great Slave Lake, which formerly extended many miles beyond its present southern shore."

"(Figure 1) Reagentized pulp enters into the column at about 1/4 of the distance from the top. Inside the column it meets with a downward flowing stream of water and with an upward flowing mass of air bubbles. Flotation takes place in this counter current system while at the same time fine gangue particles are washed off the froth before it reaches the overflow lip at the top of the column. The main operating features of the column flotation are as follows:a) No moving parts. Solids are kept in suspention not by an agitating action of a propeller but by settling down against the rising air bubbles.b) Wash water. Spray pipes are installed a few inches below the froth surface and deliver required volume of water. The purpose of this water is twofold:(i) it keeps in balance the flow of material through the column and(ii) it washes rising froth in the froth layer as well as removes unwanted fines attached to the bubbles at the lower flotation section. As a result the concentrate produced is of higher purity than in the conventional flotation. Column is characterized by very high up-grading. However, even temporary disruption of wash water supply results in a drastic drop of concentrate grate.c) Flow balance. (Figure 2) For the correct operation volume of the underflow (tail) is larger than that of the feed. The difference is made up by the wash water. This difference called bias is predetermined and ranges from some 4 to 15 USGPM depending on the size of the unit and process requirements."

HARRY HINDS: Our second speaker today is Rich Perry. Rich is the manager of leach and dewatering at Newmont Gold Company's Carlin operations. He has been the operator of Newmont's refractory leach development program for the past three years. Prior to joining Newmont in 1994, he was plant superintendent at the Big Springs and Jerritt Canyon Roasting Mills for Independence Mining Company. He graduated from the University of Nevada's Mackay School of Mines, and has lived with his wife and three children in Elko, Nevada, for the past 12 years. Please welcome Rich as he presents "New Facility Design Engineering: On-Site Versus Engineering Companies' Offices." RICH PERRY: Newmont Gold Company has been mining and processing gold ore at its Carlin, Nevada, operations since 1965. Processing is done using oxide milling, heap leaching, and whole ore roasting methods. Newmont began development of refractory leach processing technology at its research and development facility in 1988. The R&D staff focused on developing processing methods for low-grade refractory gold resources at Carlin that could not be economically processed by refractory milling methods. The term refractory ore refers to those ores that contain quantities of sulfides and/or organic carbon that result in low recoveries using conventional cyanide leaching. The R&D staff developed two potential processes deemed worthy of further testing: heap biooxidation to liberate gold occluded by sulfides and ammonium thiosulfate leaching for gold recovery from carbonaceous preg-robbing ores. These were piloted in small heaps by the staff of the R&D and Carlin metallurgical labs from 1990 through 1994. By 1994, Newmont's R&D and metallurgical staffs had unlocked the chemistry and kinetics of the two processes, and it was decided that the operations group would be brought in to begin development of a commercial plant. A project manager at Newmont's Denver office was assigned to the project. Scale-up issues such as biooxidation leach pad design; on/off heap heights; handling of various ore types during stacking and reclaiming; operating costs; and environmental, health, and hygiene concerns using a new process chemistry remained unanswered.

During the hydraulic fracturing treatment of an oil or gas well the liquid pressure in the borehole is increased until tensile stress in the surrounding rock exceeds tensile strength. Once a tensile fracture is initiated, it is penetrated by liquid from the borehole and fracture propagation under continuous hydraulic action takes place. The fracturing liquid carries a propping agent to ensure a highly permeable flow channel after pressure release. Field results range from failure to obtain increased production to outstanding success. In all cases, however, it unfortunately remains uncertain whether the values chosen for the operational parameters, such as injection rate, pumping time and fluid viscosity, were in fact the ideal ones. Though experience provides a lead, a more satisfactory way to predict results would seem to be to subject the fracture propagation process to a theoretical analysis that (1) makes the maximum use of the relevant physical information and (2) so simplifies the resulting calculations that the field engineer gets practical data that he can handle comfortably. We are attempting here to do this in connection with the prediction of fracture width and areal extent before pressure release. What remains of the fracture afterwards depends on the distribution of the propping agent between the fracture walls, and that is a separate story. Idealization of the Problem To keep the problem tractable, a number of simplify- ing assumptions have had to be made: 1. The formation is homogeneous and isotropic as regards those of its properties that influence the fracture-propagation process. 2. The deformations of the formation during fracture propagation can be derived from linear elastic stress-strain relations. 3. The fracturing fluid behaves like a purely viscous liquid; i.e., any peculiar flow behavior due to the addition of gelling agents or other additives is neglected. Moreover, the effect of the propping agent distribution on the distribution of fluid viscosity in the fracture is not taken into account. 4. Fluid flow in the fracture is everywhere laminar. 5. Simple geometric fracture-extension patterns are assumed — either radially symmetrical propagation from a point source (Fig. 1A) or rectilinear propagation originating from a line source (Fig. 1B). In the first case the periphery of the fracture is circular, in the second case it is rectangular. 6. A rectilinear propagation mode can be accomplished only by injection over a large perforated interval, thus forming a line source. Such a rectilinear fracture must therefore be located in the vertical plane. A circular propagation mode might be expected from injection through a narrow band of perforations. This forms a point source. Because gravity effects are excluded from our considerations, the fracture propagation plane may in this case assume any angle with respect to the wellbore as far as the

"Block and panel cave mining methods are being increasingly proposed as they allow massive, deeply situated ore-bodies to be mined economically at a time when discovery rates of significant near surface deposits are declining. Cave-to-Mill, a mine-to-mill approach for block cave mines, defines ore block models with respect to both mine and mill performance. A cave-to-mill study for the New Afton block caving operation focused on identifying value opportunities related to fragmentation and sorting for a future lift as development progresses deeper. The lack of selectivity and potential for dilution associated with the block cave mining method results in many caving operations having to mine and either dispose of or process material that is below cut-off grade at certain stages of production. As an outcome of the study, the variation in cave fragmentation size and the sensitivity of mill throughput to feed size was examined. To evaluate the amenability of bulk and particle sorting, Prompt Gamma Neutron Activation Analysis and X-Ray Fluorescence sensors were tested. A conceptual bulk and particle sorting flowsheet is presented. Grade data from regular underground sampling was used to predict the performance of a bulk sorter. A heterogeneity analysis of material reporting to drawpoints helped to identify areas of the extraction level that experience high variations in grade and thereby stand to benefit from dedicated ore and waste material handling systems should underground bulk sorting be implemented.INTRODUCTION Block and panel caving are low-cost underground mass mining methods that are suitable for excavating weak, massive and steeply-dipping orebodies. Accordingly, cave mining methods have predominantly been used to mine copper porphyry and diamond bearing deposits. Due to the increasing depletion of near-surface orebodies, it is expected that block and panel caving methods will be increasingly used in the copper-gold industry. Their implementation holds significant potential to extend the life of existing open-pit operations by providing an economic means to access ore located at depths that are beyond the practical limits of open-pit mining. Examples of cave mines proposed for British Columbia include the Kwanika Mine, Red Chris underground, Kemess Underground project, and the Iron Cap and Mitchell cave mines of the Kerr-Sulphurets and Mitchell (KSM) project (Moose Mountain Technical Services, 2017; Imperial Metals, 2017; Golder Associates, 2017; Tetra Tech, 2016)."
