Numerous hydrothermal vents occur along the Earth?s oceanic spreading axes documenting the reaction of seawater with hot magmatic rocks. The circulation of seawater through the oceanic crust, the interaction with hot rocks in the crust, and the subsequent discharge of hot metal- and gas-rich fluids into the ocean have significant implications for the cycling of material and energy on Earth. Until recently, hydrothermal activity was unknown from the Mid-Atlantic Ridge (MAR) south of the Equator where the MAR is offset by about 1000 km at the St. Paul?s and Romanche fracture zones. During a British cruise in February/March 2005, the first active hydrothermal vent field was discovered on the southern MAR at 5°S. During our follow-up cruise M64/1 in April 2005, the first samples from this vent field were recovered with the ROV QUEST (Univ. Bremen) and analyzed onboard. The high-temperature vent field is situated in a water depth of 2990 m along a line of collapse pits within a large basaltic sheet flow. A diffuse, low-temperature field occurs in a jumbled sheet flow few hundred meters to the east with warm water streaming out of cavities between lava blocks. Here we show for the first time that boiling fluids of ~400°C are emanating from sulfide-bearing vents at a depth of about 3000 m at a slow-spreading Mid-Atlantic Ridge segment. Although this segment is composed of thick basaltic crust, these fluids are dominated by hydrogen relative to methane. Whereas the active chimneys consist of pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, and isocubanite, the mineral association hematite-magnetite-pyrite occurs in the inactive chimneys suggesting that the fluids became more reducing in present times. The high hydrogen contents and the high temperature of the fluids as well as the change to more reducing conditions are most likely related to a young volcanic eruption event some 300 m east of the hydrothermal field. The presence of hematite and magnetite may indicate that the upflow zone or even the reaction zone at 5°S used to be more oxidized then at other MOR sites, where the hydrothermal fluids are commonly buffered by the pyrite-pyrrhotite-magnetite (PPM) buffer. Consequently, high iron contents and high hydrogen/methane ratios occur in high temperature fluids from basaltic host rocks rather than being restricted to ultramafic host rocks. Faunal communities at the South Atlantic vents largely resemble those from the North Atlantic vents implying that the large Equatorial fracture zones do not inhibit or obstruct faunal exchange along the Mid-Atlantic Ridge.

THERE has been a running discussion over the-past several years with respect to the life and adequacy of our natural gas reserves.. Some of the experts agree on one phase of the subject at least--that eventually it will be necessary to augment deliveries of natural gas in the northern markets by the development of a more or less comparable synthetic gas made from coal. The purpose of this paper is to point out: 1. It may be later than a good many people think-the demand for additional domestic and commercial pipeline gas in at least one section of the North will probably be felt rather keenly before an adequate synthetic pipeline-gas project, developed on economic lines, could be completed, even if ' initiated in the near future. 2. The evidence is considerable that such a project would be technically sound and economically self-supporting, although the margin of profit at first might be so small and the magnitude of an economic enterprise so great that financing would be impossible without Government aid in some form or other. The part of the country referred to is the heavily populated section in the northeast of the United States. To simplify an examination of the situation, let us take the potential marketing areas within range to the north and east of the three pipelines: 1. Tennessee Gas Transmission Co. as it enters Erie County, New York state. 2. Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation just before the tap that supplies the general Philadelphia area. 3. Transcontinental G& Pipe Line Corporation as it enters the state of New Jersey The sources of gas for these three pipelines are in Texas and Louisiana. The ultimate maximum combined capacity of the three lines at the points stated is approximately 1,200,000,000 cu ft per 24 hr at the maximum load factor probable of attainment in normal operation. The areas supplied by the three lines north and east of the points stated, or assumed as eventual markets, are: 1. Central New York state, from Buffalo to Albany (both inclusive).

"Nickel slags obtained from various smelting furnaces and converters differ in terms of their chemical composition and microstructure. The microstructure of the slag is largely affected by how fast the slag is cooled after being discharged from the furnace. Slow cooling is known to promote crystallization and growth of phases such as crystalline fayalite (Fe2Si04), magnetite (Fe3Ü4) and vitreous silica (S1O2). Slag granulation causes rapid solidification of the melt in the form of either an amorphous solid or highly intergrown crystalline silicate and oxide phases. Smelter slags contain entrapped Ni, Co and Cu in the form of dissolved oxides and matte inclusions. Extraction of the entrapped metals by high pressure oxidative acid leaching (250°C, 70 g/L initial H2SO4, up to 90 psi O2, 45 min) relies on the dissolution of the metal bearing minerals. The impact of the slag microstructure on the accessibility of these minerals to leaching, as well as the morphology of the produced residues is discussed in this paper.IntroductionIt was shown previously that entrapped base metals can be efficiently extracted from naturally cooled (as opposed to granulated) crystalline nickel smelter and converter slags using high pressure oxidative acid leaching operating at 250°C, ~40 g/L terminal acid and 60 to 90 psig oxygen overpressure [1, 2,3,4, 5, 6].Mineral characterization work performed on a naturally cooled crystalline nickel furnace slag from Vale's operations in Sudbury (ON, Canada) was previously reported [4]. Fayalite (Fe2Si04) and magnetite (Fe3U4) were detected using powder X-ray diffraction. These two minerals as well as silica (S1O2) and matte ([Fe,Ni,Cu]Sx) were also identified with the help of energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) on cross-sectional images obtained with a scanning electron microscope (SEM) operating in the backscattered mode. Nickel converter slags obtained from Vale's operations in Sudbury were found to be mineralogically similar to the furnace slag, but with higher contents of matte entrainment and magnetite based on the SEM-EDX observations [6]."

During the ongoing research into the possible applications of Virtual Reality in underground operations, the AIMS Research Unit has developed a user-interface driven program which enables a user to input the geometry of underground mines, and add equipment and working processes in order to produce an accurate simulation of their operation. This paper describes the main features of this system (VR-MINE). Virtual Reality is a field which has grown out of three dimensional computer graphics techniques, and allows a user to move freely around a model held within the computer's memory. Movement around this model is carried out by the use of intuitive peripherals such as joysticks, with the user's view from their position within the model being produced in real time on a computer monitor or other device (such as a headset). This enables a user to interact with any three dimensional model and see the results of their actions immediately. VR-MINE is broken into two separate programs, both running under Microsoft Windows 3.1 or above. The first, the editor, allows the user to develop the mine layout and add equipment and personnel. The mine geometry is considered to be made up of various types of objects, for example a straight roadway segment which can be inclined, a junction roadway segment, and a turning segment. The geometry can then saved into a file to be loaded in by the second program of VR-MINE, the viewer. This generates a real- istic representation of the mine, with undulating floors and walls. It also has the ability to display multiple windows on the mine at the same time, which are arranged interactively. The simulation occurs within this program, with the user traversing the model in real time to examine possible areas of improvement in operations. This paper gives a number of examples of how the AIMS Re- search Unit has applied this technology to a range of underground mining scenarios to improve the safety of workers in the under- ground environment. The application discussed include computer graphics and Virtual Reality systems to training, risk analysis, visualisation, simulation, accident investigation and major hazard planning.

There is nothing new about dragline dredging for placer gold. The use of the separate unit for excavating preceded the large barge with excavator mounted upon it, which has reached a high state of perfection through use in every part of the world. But at present there is a vogue for a small, inexpensive plant combining a dragline excavator on caterpillar mounting and a gravel-washing plant on a floating barge. The most efficient ones use a bucket of 1 to 2 yd. capacity with boom from 40 to 70 ft. long. The barge varies from 20 by 30 ft. to 36 by 48, and carries the trommel screen, pump, riffle sluices and power engine. Plants in Oboville District In the Oroville district eight such plants have been built since 1933, and have been operated with varying success. The most successful of these is the plant of the Wyandotte Gold Dredging Co. This organization of six active partners constructed its first plant on Wyandotte Creek in the autumn of 1933. To September of 1935 about one million cubic yards of gravel was dredged for an output of about $225,000 in gold. The operation has been successful from the beginning, because of wise management, which was based upon good plant design and proper principles of operation. All the partners have taken a more or less active part in the operation. Usually there is one at work on each shift, and they have conducted their own prospecting and building also. They elected H. F. England as manager, with wide power of control, and he carries out this responsibility energetically and successfully. One of the other plants, started shortly before the Wyandotte, finally abandoned its operation and sold its ground to the latter company, which successfully worked it for a profit. The failure of the other plant was due principally to poor excavating equipment. Another organization that built a plant some months later than the Wyandotte company had considerable difficulty in management and was unable to keep ahead of expenses. Finally, late last summer, it entered into an agreement with the Wyandotte company to have the latter supply

4.1 INTRODUCTION There have been numerous methods developed for predicting the final subsidence and final displacement profiles (Voight and Pariseau, 1970; Brauner, 1973a; Kratzsch, 1983). But for discus- sion purposes, they can be classified into six categories: theoretical, profile function, influence function, graphical, physical, and numerical modeling. The theoretical method employs mainly continuum mechanics theories and attempts to explain the mechanisms that lead to sur- face subsidence. Many models using nearly all kinds of material behavior have been developed. These include elastic (Salmon, 1963; Berry, 1964), plastic (Pariseau, 1968), viscoelastic (Iman, 1965), and elastoplastic (Dahl, 1969). The Profile Function Method is essentially a method of curve-fitting against the measured subsidence profiles in a particular mine or region. There are more than 20 profile functions developed empirically for nearly all major coalfields in the world. These include, to name just a few representative ones: Hungary (Martos, 1958), Japan (Hiramatsu and Oka, 1968), Russia (Avershin, 1947), United Kingdom (Wardell, 1965), and USA (Peng and Chen, 1981; Karmis et al., 1984). The NCB's graphical method in the subsidence Engineers' Handbook (1975) also belongs to the profile function method. The influence function method was first proposed by Bals (1931/1932). It was further developed in various periods and stages by Knothe (1957), Liu and Liao (1965), Brauner (1973a) and Marr (1975). This method is now widely used in various parts of the world. The physical models include sand (Litwiniszyn, 1959; Pariseau and Dahl, 1968) and gelatin (King and Whetton, 1958; Khair et al., 1986). They are used mainly to study the parameters that control subsidence behavior. The most popular numerical method is the finite element technique. It can simulate nearly every conceivable material behavior, inhomogeneity, bedding planes, anisotropy, and various boundary conditions. This versatility is absolutely necessary considering the ever-changing geologic and mining conditions encountered. In the following sections, only those methods that have been applied to US coalfields will be discussed. Furthermore, the methods for prediction of several key parameters such as maximum subsidence, maximum possible subsidence, and maximum displacement are discussed first, because they are the key parameters to be used in the profile function, influence function, and graphical methods.

"The Box-Behnken Design (BBD) is used to model the sacrificial Cathodic Protection System (SCPS) to find the factors effectiveness behaviour. For protection potential assessment the BBD receives (resistivity of environment, sacrificial anode alloy, distance between anode and cathode and surface area for the structure to be protected) as input and gives the protection potential as output. By applying BBD with their analysis tools we get many results. The important results which are the factors individual effectiveness on the sacrificial cathodic protection (SCP) process are the resistivity which has the greatest effect on the potential protection (rank=l) followed by sacrificial anode alloy type (rank=2), surface area for structure protected required (rank=3) and distance between anode and cathode (rank=4). The interaction of sacrificial anode alloy and cathode area {X2X4 ) has significant effect on CP process with the limits which are used in this work while the other factors interaction (X1X2, X1X3, X1X4,X2X3, X3X4 ) has insignificant effect on the limits which used in this work.IntroductionFor carbon steel in seawater the normal corrosion potential E '°""_is in the range -550 to -600 mV vs. Ag/AgCI [1]. The most effective method to overcome the corrosion is cathodic protection {CP) which represents a control method in the steel wall corrosion. Cathodic protection has been used in several areas including marine and underground structures, storage tanks, and pipelines [2]. Sacrificial anodes system generates protective current which depends upon the inherent potential difference between the anodes and the structure to be protected. If the structure is made of iron or steel, any metal that is more active in the electromotive force series can theoretically be used as anode material [3]. There are many factors influencing on cathodic protection like resistivity (NaCl content), chemical composition of sacrificial anode alloy, distance between anode and cathode, surface area of cathode, temperature, humidity, velocity of solution, dust, impurities, bacteria and etc .. The present work studied four factors: NaCl content, resistivity), chemical composition of sacrificial anode alloy, distance between anode and cathode, surface area of cathode) with different three levels of values for each one. Then this work will find the optimum value from the factors levels that tacked to investigated there influencing on sacrificial cathodic protection system."

(written dlscussion ?) .-It is interesting to observe how closely Mr. Hansen agrees with other investigators to the effect that the art of electrolytic zinc has left the realm of mystery. In his introduction, lie has said practically what Thomas French said in his paper "The Future of Electrolytic Zinc. "1 The successful electrolysis of zinc from sulphate solutions has not been an easy matter, and it is only within recent years that the difficult problem of depositing high-grade zinc has been satisfactorily: accomplished on a commercial basis. The principal requisite is. that the electrolyte shall be quite free from certain impurities. The methods by which freedom from these impurities is assured are now very well understood, and with experienced superintendents there is little difficulty in obtaining a high efficiency in that part of the process. When certain underlying principles are recognized, the difficulty encountered in dealing with the filtration of the acid and slimy solutions also largely disappears, although it has been a very serious one to the uninitiated. In the dissolving of the zinc from the roasted ore, there is nothing which any competent chemical' engineer cannot undertake, and any other operations connected with the electrolytic process are either of little or no difficulty, or are common to the retort process. Mr. Hansen also agrees with R. G. Hall's statement in " Some Economic Factors in the Production of Electrolytic Zinc:"2

THE writer of this paper well realizes that the majority of engineering and metallurgieal works have from time to time evolved mechanical devices which are of great value as regards application in an operating plant.Many of these deviees would not be apparent to an individual making a brief inspection of works such as these, and it is for this reason that the writer proposes to outline a few of the devices which have been evolved by the engineering department of the Broken Hill Associated Smelters Pty. Ltd.NOVEL METHOD OF MACHINING A SPHERICAL JOINTFig. 1 represents one half of a casing for a ball-joint coupling. In the ordinary methods of boring an external spherical casing, that is with a radius bar attached to the tool rest of a lathe, there is always an error in the bore. It has two flat sides, and this error is inherent in the ordinary orthodox method and cannot be corrected. The engineers of the Broken Hill Associated Smelters Pty. Ltd. undertook a job that had to be extremely accurate, and the tool shown in Fig. 2 was evolved. Greater automation of facilities is probably the best hope of the mining industry in its efforts to surmount continually rising labor costs. Underground mining, with its inherently low unit labor output, is especially vulnerable to rising costs, and here maximum automation is becoming increasingly important. One area of such operations that has been receiving a great deal of investigation is that of ore haulage and hoisting, two steps that often account for 10-35% of underground operating costs. Innovations and experimentation by mining firms and manufacturers over the past few years have resulted in larger, faster and more efficient tramming and hoisting equipment, but the White Pine Copper Co., at its operation in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, is preparing to start up an entirely new concept in haulage later this summer. Known as the Dashaveyor System, it consists of individually powered modules (cars) that run on tracks inside a rectangular tube or on an open trackway at predetermined speeds up to 50 mph. At White Pine the Dashaveyor will be used to carry ore (crushed underground to -10 in.) from the mine to the concentrator. Dr. James Boyd, president of Copper Range Co., which is a 25% shareholder in The Dashaveyor Co., has indicated that if the Dashaveyor meets the expectations for surface operation, it will also be used underground for ore transport in place of the several miles of conveyor belts currently in use (Business Week, July 29, 1967).

Slimes, especially clays, are detrimental to several processes in the Mining Industry. The efficiency of classification, clarification, gravity separation, and flotation decreases significantly in the presence of slimes and clays. This problem is particularly critical in the Phosphate and Sulfide Industries. To reduce the effect of slimes in mineral processing, several desliming techniques and chemical additives are used, such as sodium silicate, sodium carbonate, sulfuric acid, tripolyphosphate, hexameta phosphate, etc. Lately, the Mining Chemical industry has shift to more “Specifically Developed” reagents that offer the most efficient and cost effective performance, mainly using organic polymers. For this purpose, the Mining Chemical Industry needs to understand the crystal chemistry of minerals, the chemistry of the aqueous media, the interactions in solids-aqueous-gas interfaces, the rheology of the system, and the plant operation conditions and parameters. This paper describes the use of surface chemistry fundamentals on the design of an organic polymer capable of modifying the rheology of clayish slurries of a phosphate ore. The change in the rheological characteristics of the clayish phosphate slurries allow fine ore particles to settle faster by reducing the slurry viscosity. Thus, abetter separation of the ore from the slimes is possible using gravitational or centrifugal forces. As examples of the application of this reagent, industrial and pilot plant tests on desliming using tanks and hydrocyclones are presented. These tests showed the reduction of 32%-36% in ore losses for different phosphate ores during desliming operations, and the increase of cyclones desliming efficiency to 80%. Tests were also carried out to improve the rejection of unwanted iron bearing slimes in phosphate feed. These tests demonstrated that it is possible to reduce by 0.25%-1.23% Fe2O3content in the flotation feed product. As a result, significant economical benefits are observed with the use of this new technology without any adverse effect on down stream operations, such as clay settling or phosphate flotation.

IN this paper I shall attempt a description of the successful extraction of coal from this property after it had been on fire for probably fifty years, or more, and after attempts, made at various times, which had still left considerable coal behind. The Richmond coal-field has a well-founded bad reputation, arising from the circumstance that many of its collieries have had to be abandoned, from time to time, if not entirely, on account of fires, caused by spontaneous combustion, to which the character of the coal in this field renders them peculiarly liable. While I fully assent to the opinion that this trouble lies in the nature of the coal, which is highly bituminous, and the seams of which are, moreover, divided by slaty bands, through which, as also in the coal, iron pyrites is more or less disseminated, often in microscopically small particles, I must, nevertheless, declare that many lamentable disasters, causing great loss of life and property, could have been avoided if a suitable system of mining had been pursued in all the collieries. If this could not have been done from the beginning of mining in this section of country (the history of which can be traced back to over one hundred years), at least experience enough existed upon this subject thirty and forty years ago to dictate the avoidance of the dangers to a considerable extent. It is therefore necessary here to refer first, in a few remarks, to the character of the coal deposits, particularly in this immediate neighborhood, the Midlothian being one of the oldest and most extensive mines, and some of its coal being much subjected to spontaneous combustion. I must also refer to the history of former managements to explain more clearly the results which were arrived at. "This paper reports solvent extraction of rare earth elements (REEs) carried out using a microfluidic device and considers the REE loading limit of the organic phase under laminar flow. The microfluidic device contacts aqueous and organic phase streams for a precisely defined contact time (subsecond resolution) and then separates them for offline analysis. Experiments are reported examining the effect of contact time on extraction. We focus on three REEs: one ‘light’ (Nd), one ‘mid’ (Dy), and one ‘heavy’ (Yb) REE, which are extracted using Cyanex® 572. It appears that loading limits may be locally exceeded in the organic phase near to the liquid-liquid interface, where third phase deposits are observed. Third phase formation was also observed close to the liquid-liquid interface in two-dimensional confinement, showing similar third phase adsorption on glass plates. It is also shown that, under microfluidic flow, a typical first ‘split’ between heavy REEs and light REEs can be carried out without exceeding loading limits.INTRODUCTIONMicrofluidic solvent extraction has emerged as a useful tool for studying extraction of metals in a mineral processing context (Ciceri, Mason, Harvie, Perera, & Stevens, 2013; Ciceri, Perera, & Stevens, 2011; Kriel et al., 2015; Mason, Ciceri, Harvie, Perera, & Stevens, 2013; Priest, Zhou, Klink, Sedev, & Ralston, 2012; Priest et al., 2011). The main advantages are the extremely well-defined and tunable flow behaviour, large surface-to-volume ratios, short contact times, and minimisation of sample and reagent amounts. Two main flow configurations have been studied to date: droplet-based and co-flowing streambased extraction. In the former, droplets are formed at a microchannel junction (usually a T-junction or flow-focusing junction) and flow downstream as plugs or ‘free’ droplets. In our case, stream-based extraction, the chip is a plate (often glass) with embedded microchannels (i.e. with cross-sections of tens of micrometres) that carry the aqueous and organic phases in contact without forming droplets. Thus, these chips play the role of a mixer in a conventional mixer-settler and phase separation takes place by branching the streams or collection in a vessel at the chip outlet. Stream-based extraction requires stable streams that are usually supported by a particular channel geometry (e.g. guide structure or small ‘pillars’) or surface chemistry, and flow parallel bounded by the liquid-liquid interface(Aota, Nonaka, Hibara, & Kitamori, 2006; Hibara et al., 2005; Hibara et al., 2002). Phases are disengaged downstream at a Y-junction, which is a qualitative difference between microfluidic and bulk extractions."

INTRODUCTION The geology of porphyry copper deposits in the southern Cordilleran orogen is the subject of this chapter. The area considered extends northwest from southern Mexico to the Columbia volcanic plateau, the Cascade volcanic province, and the Idaho batholith. Transversely it is a belt some 800 km (500 miles) in width bounded on the west by the Sierra Nevada range. Included within this area are many large segments considered unfavorable for hosting porphyry copper deposits, which are mentioned in the text. The region and its porphyry copper deposits have probably been more intensely studied and reported in the literature than any other area in the world. This summary considers regional geologic controls that governed formation of porphyry copper deposits within this province. Geologic factors that influenced the mineralogy and metallogeny of the deposits are also examined. Discussions with H. R. Cornwall have greatly helped in writing this section. GEOLOGIC SETTING The geologic setting has been summarized by Anderson (1966), Burchfiel and Davis (1972), Rogers, et al. (1974), and Lowell (1974). No porphyry copper deposits in this area are known to be pre-Triassic, so Mesozoic and Tertiary events will be stressed. Figs. 40 and 41 show basic data believed most pertinent to the topic of porphyry copper deposits. Pre-Middle Jurassic: Figs. 40 and 41 contain the principal structural and crustal ele¬ments found in the Cordilleran orogen after Anderson (1966), Schmitt (1966), Coney (1972), Rogers, et al. (1974), and Lowell (1974, 1976), together with location of some of the more important porphyry copper deposits. The western limit of the Precambrian craton is shown in Fig. 40 (Rogers, et al., 1974). East of that limit the crustal environment through which the porphyry copper plutons ascended includes the Precambrian basement as well as varying thicknesses of Paleozoic shelf and platform accumulations. The northwestern and western portion of the southern Cordilleran orogen west of the Rogers, et al. (1974) limit of Precambrian basement has what Churkin (1974) calls a thin continental crust. The formula developed by Salamon and Munro in 1967 has been used for the past 22 years in the design of bord-and-pillar workings in South African collieries. This paper re-assesses the formula In the light of Its past performance and examines the effect of mining method on coal-pillar strength. An account is given of the extension of the formula so that it can be applied beyond the empirical range for which it was derived, and the advantages of the extended formula (the squat-pillar formula) are described.

This paper reports on what appears to be the first discovery of prehistoric mica-schist mining in southern 4frica. The mine concerned was found in a location very rich in rock art that is one of the most important archaeological sites in the Kalahari. The authors conclude that the oval pieces of mica schist that were found at the mine site were used by Khoisan peoples to scrape fatty tissue from hides that were to be cured. Radiocarbon datings seem to indicate that such ovals were used for at least 20 000 years.

On its tenth anniversary, the computer is a "fact-of- life" in the mineral industries. Its evolution as a practical mining tool was accurately summarized by Alfred Weiss, editor of the Proceedings of the 1969 International Computer Application Symposium, A Decade of Digital Computing in the Mineral Industry: "During the past decade, data processing and operations research developments within the mineral industry have evolved through states typical of any new technique. These have ranged from mere recognition, to cautious acceptance, to confident utilization, and in some instances, to substantial investment in computer hardware and software."

After a three-year period characterized by inflation, recession, depressed metal prices, lack of demand, enormous world inventories, and rapidly escalating costs, the Canadian mining industry is showing welcome signs of recovery. A rise in world metal prices and particularly strong demand for gold, uranium, and coal have stimulated the industry in early 1979. In this atmosphere of growing optimism, over 3000 mineral industry executives, economists, geologists, and mining and metallurgical engineers convened in Montreal, April 26-29, for Canada's largest mining convention, the Annual General Meeting of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.

The Mt Muro gold and silver deposit in Central Kalimantan has been in production since December 1994. The geology is characterised by narrow high-grade lodes containing gold and significant amounts of silver. From a largely untrained workforce in the grade control department, production per crew and per geologist has tripled during the three years of production. Grade control drilling evolved from blast hole sampling to reverse circulation sampling. National geologists are trained in basic modeling procedures. A fully integrated reporting and reconciliation system was programed and implemented.
